As the day ended for Shuhua and Soojin, the etheria thought about surprising the young girl by picking her up. In her mind, it was just a kind gesture and no more. It's just that Shuhua really wanted to see her again, so she decided to drive all the way to the campus to make that happen. Although, if she was asked about it, she would say it was on the way home.

But again, it was a kind gesture.

Soojin did just that; she leaned against her car and waited for her to come out. Plenty of students were filing out and it wasn't long until the certain girl walked through the doors.

"Unnie!"

She ran up to the woman, knocking her over in the process. For Shuhua, she didn't want to say anything about her epiphany just yet. She would rather let it be until the time did come. Plus, why would she tell her?

"Jinjin, I thought you had a meeting," Shuhua said to her, "did you come by since you missed me?"

"It finished early and no I did not miss you." Soojin looked away and sat in the driver's seat.

Shuhua followed and entered the car, "Oh really? Then why did you come all this way? You know I can bus home, right?"

"It was on the way alright? Besides, it's my job to babysit you." The woman answered back, making the latter pout.

"Whatever." She mumbled and sulked in her seat.

The two drove back home as they both watched the cars go by. Occasionally, Shuhua would complain about how hard her classes were and how much she wanted to drop out. Soojin couldn't help but respond in her cold, yet meaningful advice.

It seems like they've warmed up to each other.

"So, how did the meeting go?" Shuhua asked as they exited the car. "Surely, it went well?"

"It did." she answered. Her face sighed and lowered her head. The young girl took notice and automatically assumed something was wrong.

"Really? Your face says something different."

Soojin looked up at Shuhua and met her eyes. The girl was shocked as the ice melted away from the etheria's face. For the first time, she was shown a hint of vulnerability from the woman.

"Shu, have you ever been afraid of the future?" She asked softly.

Shuhua shook her head, "No, I haven't."

"Me neither; this is the first time."

"Now we should get into the details."

Everyone in the council room sat down. The real meeting had commenced. Dawn opened up a massive digital map on the large marble table and displayed the layout of Korea, including small hologram buildings that showed real-time footage of millions of walking pedestrians or moving cars.

He stepped onto the map and stood over it; looking like a giant compared to the simulated city.

"As you all know, the Gates are circled around the Seoul, Incheon and Busan." He began.

"In earlier times, demons have been spotted in the urban outskirts of the city; however, in recent research, their spawn points are now located in Myeong-dong, Central Park Songdo and Haedong Yonggungsa Temple: main tourist attractions and filled with the most people."
