Chapter 14: Sai's feelings

"Sakura, I think I'm going. I'm sorry everyone... It was fun!" Ino grabbed her bag and ran away. Sakura frowned at Sai.

"D-did I do something wrong?" he asked.

"Baka!" said Sakura and ran after Ino. Meanwhile, the boys were frowning at Sai.

"What's wrong?" He smiled.

"Are you sure you don't have a crush?" asked Naruto.

"Yes, why do you ask?"

"Is Ino air or what?" asked Shikamaru. He was protective over her.

"Hmm, no, she isn't. She isn't my crush."

"What did you say?!" yelled Shikamaru.

"Let it be, Shikamaru, love can't be forced. But I'd also like to punch him now!" said Choji.

"Then why are you calling her Beautiful?" teased Naruto.

"That's simple, I read a book about nicknames. I didn't mean to offend or upset her, so I called her something nice without being honest." He smiled.

"Wait, I thought she was special to you! What do you really think of her?!" asked Shikamaru.

"I never said she was special to me. She's just my inspiration." He smiled.

"Are you emotionless or what?!" asked Naruto.

"Why? Just because I said she isn't my crush?" asked innocently Sai.

"Listen! Do you even know what a crush is?!" asked Shikamaru.

"Hmm, I know." He took his blog. He wrote the word CRUSH on it.

"A crush is the person you like. Is that right?"

"Then how can you say that Ino isn't your crush?!" asked Shikamaru.

"I like her, but as a friend. We didn't spend much time together. Please don't blame me for your shortcomings." Sai smiled. They gave up.

"Whatever..." said Shikamaru. He felt sorry for Ino. She took his love automatically. She didn't realize it could be one-sided.

After a while, Sakura returned. But without Ino. Ino was out of sight and Sakura couldn't find her. It was thundering outside and there was a storm. Sakura was worried about her.

"Sakura, you are all wet!" said Sasuke.

"Yeah, because of the rain..." She was sad.

"Are you okay?" Sasuke asked.

"I'm worried about Ino! And you, Sai, you better not even want to know what I think of you now. Ino is a great girl. Someone like you doesn't even deserve her. I'd rather hit you, really!" Sasuke handed her a dry towel.

"Thank you, Sasuke-kun..."

" I won't let you be sick. Then your parents would scold me." Sakura giggled.

"Mainly my mom!"

"Right..." Sasuke smirked. Sai was sad for the first time in his life. For some reason, he felt guilty.

"So... will we continue?" asked Naruto.

"I think it's ruined. We'd better go to bed."

"Right..." Others agreed. It was impossible to continue without Ino.

"So... girls will sleep in this room and boys in this room. Objection?" Neji raised his hand.

"What?"

" Can't I be in a room with Hinata-sama? There's one person I don't trust..." Naruto grinned at him.

"I thought we started from the beginning!"

"Tss, I still don't trust you." Sasuke face-palmed.

"You can, Neji. You probably couldn't breathe in the same room with Naruto anyway."

"Thanks."

"Hey! There is even TenTen! Neji could sneak on her!"

"That wouldn't happen! I'm nothing like you!" Naruto frowned at him.

"I-I trust him..." said TenTen.

"Fine, you can sleep there because Ino is gone."

"Right..." said sadly Sakura. She hopes she got home safely.

"Not fair!" complained Naruto.

"I don't care about your bullsh*t, Naruto, so you're out of luck," said Sasuke.

"Damn," said Shikamaru.

"Savage," said Choji.

"You are not helping!!" yelled Naruto. He woke up Kurama.

"Be quiet, Naruto, someone Is trying to sleep!"

"Who was that?!" Sakura was confused.

"No one! Don't mind it!" said coldly Sasuke. He didn't want to put her in danger.

"A-all right, I believe you." Sakura smiled. But she is still unsure about it.

In the end, Neji shared a room with TenTen, Sakura, Temari and Hinata. Naruto shared a room with Choji, Sasuke, Sai and Shikamaru.

"That lucky bastard!" Naruto was angry.

"And Sai! It's your fault!"

"Huh? How?"

"Because of you Neji can sleep with the girls-ttebayo!"

"Really? I guess I'm sorry."

"You don't guess, you are sorry!!" Sai smiled.

"Naruto, shut up! I want to sleep!" said Sasuke.

"Sasuke! You don't mind Neji is there with Sakura-chan?!"

"No! I would mind if it was you, but Neji is fine!"

"What?! And you are calling yourself my best friend?!"

"No, I'm not!"

"Uhh!!" Naruto felt betrayed.

"That's worthless..." Naruto fell a sleep first.

"How could he just fall asleep?" thought Sasuke.

"Oi Sasuke," whispered Kurama. "

"Naruto's pet?"

"I have a name! It's Kurama! But thank you for what you did. That you kept my indetity a secret."

"I didn't do it for you. But it could be dangerous if they knew."

"You are right, thanks anyway."

"That was nothing." Sasuke smirked. Then he fell asleep too. The next days everyone besides Naruto were gone. Sasuke had to wake him.

"Oi Naruto!"

"S-Sasuke?! Where is Sai, Shikamaru and Choji?!"

"They are gone. You should be gone too, but instead of that you'll help me to clean it here."

"What?!"

"You heard right. That's you punishment for that snoring."

"Like I can help it-ttebayo!"

"Still your fault." Naruto was annoyed.
