Chapter 14: Awakening

Naruto’s POV

It's been five days. Five days sitting here with Hinata. I didn't even go home. And I haven't left Hinata yet. I even slept in the hospital. Even though they told me to go home, I didn't listen to them. I wanted to be here for her…

But because I was very tired, I fell asleep after a while and had my head on Hinata's bed…

"Huh? W-what happened? And… Kyaaa!" someone yelled and woke me.

"R-really? I feel all right…" She smiled.

"But look at yourself. You're only a few days after surgery. I'm worried about you!" She blushed. Then she looked at her belly. She had scars and stitches everywhere after the operation…

"I look like a monster, don’t I?" How could it have occurred to her??

"No! What are you saying?! You will be always beautiful to me!" She blushed.

"Naruto-kun…"

"I-I’m really glad you are okay. I really thought you’ll die…" I wiped my tear. She hugged me.

"I won’t leave you ever again…" I hugged her back.

"What about Toneri? Isn’t he your boyfriend?"

"Huh? Toneri-san? You know him?"

"Yeah, I met him here and he told me he’s your boyfriend…"

"He really said that?" She was dissapointed.

"I told him we are just friends. We were just a team at a military school. He invited me on a date, but I didn't take it seriously. I'm sorry he told you this. I wouldn't expect this from him. He was always kind to me."

"So he’s not your boyfriend?!"

"No, I love only you…" She smiled. I kissed her. She didn’t expect this.

"I love you too!" I said. She blushed.

"How much longer will you be here?" I asked.

"I don’t know. Maybe a week…"

"It doesn't matter, I'll come to you every day! But the visits will be over… I’ll have to go."

"Oh…" She was sad.

"Hinata, I really want to thank you for Kurama and other beasts. I also want to thank that you helped us a lot. Without you we wouldn’t solve it."

"Neji-nii-san told me that you are a hero. I’m so proud of you!"

"Wait, you were in coma. Did you hear it?"

"Yes, I heard everything. Even your story." She smiled.

"I’m so glad Ino-chan and Sakura-chan have boyfriends. But what about TenTen-chan? She liked Neji-nii-san…"

"Of course, our job here is done. I graduated and Hanabi finished her elementary school. I would like her to join Konoha High School." She smiled.

"I already have a college chosen. I want to be a great leader so I can be the head of the FBI!"

"Then I will follow you."

"I'm going to the same school as you…" She smiled.

"Hinata!" I hugged her. This is the best new ever!

"Will anyone be there with us?"

"Sasuke, he wants to help me later. Be my right hand. And Sai, he would like to be a detective and investigate murders. Ino too, she wants to become a lawyer."

"I see. That’s really nice. So many people want to help you! And I’m really happy for Ino-chan and Sai-kun."

"Yeah, me too. But they didn’t have to ruin my speech!" She giggled.

"Where Is Kurama?" she asked.

"He’s outside. Pets are not allowed here."

"I’d like to see him."

"All right, but only for a while." I went to wake Kurama.

"Oi, wake up!!"

"Tss, you damn brat. I want to sleep!"

"Too bad, Hinata wants to see you."

"She’s awake? All right, I’ll go." I took Kurama and brought him to Hinata.

"Kurama!" She was happy to see him.

"Yo Hinata, thank you that you saved my friends."

"I’m really glad they are all right." Kurama smirked. Hinata took him in her arms and hugged him. That lucky bastard…

After week, Hinata could go home.She said goodbye to her grandmother, and Neji and I returned home and I with them. Pervy Sage was furious that I didn't even bother to call him. I completely forgot about him.

A few weeks later, we all testified against Madara in court. Even Obito. Although we won, unfortunately Obito and Madara were taken to the FBI, where they were imprisoned.

Gaara became the interim head of the FBI. But he said he only agreed because of me. And he looks forward to replacing him. I am grateful for such a friend.

Itachi and Neji have ceased to be in the shadows of the FBI. There was no reason for that now. They joined the FBI as commanders of their units. Even Shisui. All qualified game masters also joined the FBI. But only Han, Yagura, Roshi and Killer Bee. The others were still young.
