Chapter 3: Last date

... Two weeks later

Naruto’s POV

Pervy Sage is too strict. I have to run twice a day for at least 2 km. But that's not all. Now that I have holidays, he has banned video games for me. I can only write with Hinata. I haven't seen her in a long time… Suddenly my cell phone vibrated. I got a message.

"Naruto-kun, we haven't seen each other in a long time, so I'd like to meet somewhere. Can we go on a date?" I replied.

"Of course-ttebayo! I have some money from one brigade now, so we can go on a date"

"That sounds nice. I didn’t even know…"

"Nah, I just found it because of Pervy Sage. I needed an important reason to get out of training."

"Ichiraku Ramen! The old man is very kind! Teuchi is his name! Only sometimes he scolds me when I eat his ramen!" She sent me laughing smileys. Strange, she never did. We agreed on a date for seven o’clock. We were supposed to meet there. Neji is calmer now, but I'm still scared of him. I got there and Hinata was already there.

"Hinata!" She was sad. I felt it.

"Naruto-kun…" She tried to smile.

"Let’s go!" I said-ttebayo. Teuchi served us. It is luck. I can introduce him to Hinata.

"Oh, Naruto, is this your girlfriend?"

"How did you guess?"

"It’s because you are happier than usually. What would you like to order?"

"Ramen!!" I yelled.

"As expected. You, young lady?"

"I-I’ll take ramen too…"

"About?" She swallowed.

"I will change school."

"Hinata!" I called her.

"Stay safe!" she said and ran away. Damn!! Damn!! Damn!!! I punched the table. I almost broke it. Why?! Why, Hinata?!! We were happy together, weren’t we?!! Is it because of Neji?!! I don’t know… I don’t know… But it was hard to breathe right now. It was like losing a piece of myself. And I thought today would be great… I just lost my girlfriend… What could be worse?!"

"Obito, I noticed that one of our employees always has one raccoon with him. There's something wrong with it. Look at it and let me know!"
