Unbroken love

Chapter 5

When the girls come back from shopping Maddie and Liz saw Bo and Luke shirtless working on the car. "I see that", said Daisy. "See what", asked Maddie. "I see how you are looking at Luke", said Daisy. "I have no clue what you are talking about Daisy", said Maddie. Daisy gives Maddie a smug look, before walking over to her cousins.

"WE'RE BACK!" She yells causing the boys to jump.

Luke hits his head on the hood of the car, and Bo rams his knee into the front of the car.

"Daisy, what was that for?" Luke asks, turning to look at her, and spotting Maddie and Liz in the background. "Oh, hi girls, how was your shopping?"

Maddie shrugs. "Boring as always."

"Maddie," Liz scolds her sister. "Be nice." "Maddie?" Luke whispers, pulling her back as everyone else heads into the living room.

"What is it Luke?" Maddie asks, confused.

"I've been....uh....I was wondering," Luke stammers, scratching the back of his head.

"Wondering what?" Maddie asks, her confusion increasing.

"Wouldyoubemygirlfriend?" Luke asks, so fast his words slur together.

Maddie stares at him for a moment, trying to figure out what he said. "Um....sorry didn't quiet catch that?"

Luke takes a deep breath and tries again. "Would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" He asks, his voice shaking slightly.

Maddie watches him, a little shocked by his question, but she shakes it off and smiles. "Yes, yes I will."

Luke smiles broadly, wrapping her in a hug. They pull apart and Maddie leads the way onto the living room.

"Your attention please," Luke says as they enter. "Maddie and I have an announcement to make!"

"OMG!" Daisy exclaims. "Yall are dating!"

"That we are," Maddie confirms, giggling.

Daisy squeals and lunges at Maddie, who falls backwards from shock, with daisy landing on top of her. They share a look and burst out laughing. Liz steps forward to help her sister up, trying her best not to laugh too hard, for fear she might drop Maddie from weakness.

Once Maddie is on her feet and balanced, Liz steps back and doubles over, laughing. Daisy and Maddie look at one another and start laughing again. Maddie clutches the table to keep from falling over, while daisy leans against the wall. Once the girls stop laughing, they just stare at one another, serious looks on their faces.

"Anyways," Luke says, taking Maddies hand and pulling her toward him.

Before he could say anything else, however, high pitched sirens decided to ruin their moment. Everyone perks up, freezing in their places.

"Rosco?" Maddie asks, glancing out the window.

"More than likely," Luke answers. "Which means its time for us to leave."

He pulls Maddie out of the room and toward the general, while Bo manages to pull Liz out behind him. When Liz was behind Bo she was looking at there hands. She saw how the fingers were in locked will each other. She how no clue what this meet. When they all got to the general Luke helped Maddie get in and Bo helped Liz get in. Maddie and Luke sat in the front Bo and Liz sat in the back. "Bo i have something to ask you", asked Liz. "What is it", asked Bo. "Can yall have that conversation later?" Luke asks, starting the car, and stepping on the gas, launching the general forward and speeding down the road.

"Sure," Liz says,.turning to look out the window. "Hey, how fast are we going?"

"Umm," Luke says, quickly cheeking the speedimeter, before focusing back on the road. "About 70."

"Already?" Liz asks, amazed.

"That's the general for ya," Bo says, staring at Liz, a glazed look in his eyes. They look into each other eyes. "When should I ask you", asked Liz. "When we get back to the house", said Bo. "Alright", said Liz. After seem like an hour they finally get back to the house. They all get in the house. Liz and Bo go in a different room so they can talk. "Bo can I ask you now", asked Liz. "Yes you can", said Bo. "Bo when I first saw you I liked you a lot. Now that I see you I really like you. I want to know if you have a girlfriend", asked Liz. "As a matter of fact, I do not," Bo says, staring at Liz like his life depended on it.

"Oh, uh, do you want one?" Liz asks.

He nods. "Would you happen to be asking me if you could be my girlfriend?"

Liz's face turns a bright red. "Wha...what...n-no...I...I was just...."

"Liz," Bo says, cutting her off, "will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes!" Liz shrieks, without a moments hesitation, and lunges at him. After they were done talking they went out to see everybody on the sofa. They get in front of everybody. "We have something to tell y'all we are dating" said Liz. Maddie gets up and hugs her sister Luke gets up goes to Bo. "I am happy for y'all" says uncle Jesse. "Thanks uncle Jesse," Bo says, kissing the top of Lizs head.

Liz grins, and winks to her sister, who playfully rolls her eyes, unable to stop the small smile that forms on her lips. Luke steps back and takes Maddies hand into his own. He leans down and whispers something in her ear, that isn't audible to anyone but Maddie, who blushes and quickly kisses his cheek.

"Aww," Liz says, "how cute is that?"

"Very," Daisy pipes up from the sofa.

Maddie grins. "Thanks yall. He made me do it," she says, pointing to Luke with her thumb.

"I didn't say to kiss my cheek," Luke says, slinging his arm across her shoulders.

"Well first base won't happen until after a date or two," Maddie replies, winking at him.

"First base?" Daisy asks.

"Yeah," Maddie says, turning to smile at the youngest in the room. "You'll learn about that later." "Ok" they all said at the same time. It was getting late. Bo and Luke kissed the top of Liz and Maddie heads before they went to bed. Liz, Maddie, and Daisy went to Daisy room. Bo and Luke went to bed after that. Liz got up in the middle of the night. She got a nightmare. She got up and went to Bo and Luke's room. "Hey Bo can i sleep with you tonight" asked Liz. "Yes you can" Bo said well he is still sleepy. "Can I ask you you want to sleep here tonight" asked Bo. "I got nightmare that i was taken away and you died" said Liz with tears in here eyes. "Listen to me i will not let anything happen to you and nothing will happen to me" said Bo. *In the morning*

Daisy and Maddie slowly wake up, stretching and yawning. Maddie sits up and looks around for her sister.

"Liz?" She mumbles, groggy.

She shakes daisy, who was drifting back off to sleep. "Daisy?"

"Hmmm?"

"Where's Liz?"

"I don't know,"

Maddie threw the covers off and ran out of the room. The boys and Liz are in the living room. Maddie runs into the living room she found Liz. She ran over to her and hugged her. "Why where you not in the room when i got up this morning" asked Maddie . "I got a nightmare last night" said Liz. "You could had got me up" said Maddie. "I did not want to wake you up" said Liz."I don't care," Maddie says. "You still need to wake me."

"Alright, I'll keep that in mind," Liz says, taking a step back.

"Calm down," Luke whispers, stepping forward and kissing Maddies forehead. "She just wanted you to get your beauty sleep."

Maddie sighs. "I'm sorry Liz."

"It's ok," Liz says, wrapping her arms around Bos waist.

Maddie grins, and wraps her arms around Luke, who gently hugs her.
