I make some finishing touches to the last song that I was writing for my album with Imogen Heap while seated in the living room drinking a cup of coffee.

"Zac! Tell me what what you think of this," I eagerly hand him my notebook and lead him to the piano that I decided to purchase while moving to New York. We both sit down next to each other, "I'm so proud of this song. It definitely would've helped all those years ago..." I tell him before carefully placing my fingers on the keys and began playing...

The drought was the very worst.
When the flowers that we'd grown together died of thirst.

It was months, and months of back and forth.

You're still all over me like I wine-stained dress I can't wear anymore.

Hung my head, as I lost the war, and the sky turned black like a perfect storm.

Rain came pouring down when I was drowning that's when I could finally breathe.

And by morning, gone was any trace of you,

I think I am finally clean...

I let my head fall back and smiled as a sign of joy. "Taylor I can tell you spent so much time and dedication on this album, everyone will love it," he reassured me. I can't wait, I thought to myself.

Today was the day of the barbecue that Beatrice and Adam invited us to. When I thought things couldn't get any weirder, before they left us at the door yesterday pondering our decision to even move to New York in the first place, they handed us a gift bag of a rich red color. We quickly said our goodbyes and prepared ourselves for the terror about to happen.

"Oh god," I groaned while cringing uncomfortably as we took the items out of the bag. "Who in the world would give us this as a welcoming present?" Zac sighed as we both sat down in exhaustion. "And I thought my parents were bad at gift-giving," I agreed with him.

I gasped as we laid them out onto the counter. "This is rather...provocative, am I wrong?" I asked, thinking of all the questions that I would like to know about this whole situation. Beatrice and Adam thought it would be a lovely idea to buy us lingerie as a present. How do I tell anyone about this? This feels like some sort of messed up comedy movie...

"This looks like something my friend Karlie would wear in her Victoria's Secret Show's...except worse," I told him while rubbing my forehead out of pure disbelief. "Can you even wear this in public in this country?" Zac asked while pointing at a cheetah print boxer brief.

I laughed before being interrupted my phone, it was an unknown number...

I pick it up anyway. "Hello? Who is this?" I politely spoke into my cat inspired iPhone.

"Hola amiga! This is Bea, from next door! I just wanted to see how much you looooved your gift!" Bea shouted into my ear. "Oh uhm, we loved it! Yeah...uh-huh...sure!" My heart was beating at a thousand miles per hour. I hung up the phone and turned to Zac again.

"We might be forced to wear something else than we are now..." I said placing a hand over the lingerie.

"Oh my god," My voice cracked slightly as we walked into their apartment. If you walked into their apartment not knowing their personalities, you would still be able to guess exactly what kind of couple they were. Flowers everywhere, the smell of cheap cupcake candles filled the room.

"Just so you guys know, we own a bakery together! That's why it smells so delicious in here right?" As Bea spoke, I realized our terrible fate, nobody else was here, not a single person bothered to show up. Except us.

We tried hiding the present from earlier but that obviously was no use. "Eeek! You brought it, yay! Isn't that great Marshmallow?" Bea announced as they both clapped her hands together like a pair of excited puppies.

I place my hand on my forehead and realize it was burning, maybe my body knows what's gonna happen before I do...

As Beatrice and Adam pranced around their home like five year olds, preparing some burgers. I saw her face light up with excitement. "Oh! I just got the most fantabulous idea! How bout' you two go in the bathroom and show us how good your present looks on you!" She chirped. Uhh, how bout' no? I thought to myself.

"I don't- I don't feel comfortable-" I was interrupted by Bea's tiny but strong hands pushing us both into the small flower-filled restroom. With just us and the bag of complete regrets.

We both sighed.

"If we don't do this, it'll only get worse for here you know," I admitted. I really do not want to go through with this...

I search the bag for possible solutions. I swear I could hear the Hallelujah Chorus once I pulled out cover ups that we can put over what basically was some undergarments, or as I like to call it, swimsuits. Just so that I can make this situation a tiny bit better than what it actually was in reality.

My thoughts were interrupted by Bea knocking loudly on the door. "You better hurry! Who knows what you two lovebirds could do in there!" She shouted. "What in the world?" I carefully whispered.

"Yolo," I shrugged as I took off my top and bottoms. Honestly, I want this to be over. I quickly replace my undergarments with the "bathing suit" and slipped on the white lace cover-up. It looked as if I just woke up in the morning and threw on a shirt, it didn't cover anything.

I peeked in the mirror and got a glimpse of the tiny red bottoms that I was wearing. I sighed.

"Are you done putting on...whatever thing they thought a normal person would wear on any special occasion?" I held in my laughter before turning in his direction. He had his arm up while rubbing his face, obviously in distress. He was still wearing the same jeans but had his shirt removed completely.

"Woah, I have to change everything while you just take your shirt off?" I argued pointing at his jeans. "I think it would be better if I kept them on," he said matter-of-factly, showing me a glimpse of the hideous cheetah print briefs. "I can't even feel my thighs," he told me while wiggling his legs around, trying to make me laugh. "Good point," I smiled before opening the door to reveal a squealing Bea and a messy Adam, eating a huge burger with extra ketchup.

Bea gasped. "Look how adorable you two look! That's a show stopper right there," Bea told us while lifting my cover-up slightly, I move backwards letting her know that is where I draw the line. Adam practically dropped his burger everywhere after witnessing that. "Oh, gurl. You got them sexy legs," Bea playfully told me. This is wrong on so many levels.

Bea practically pushed me aside. "Zac! Where is yours?" She asked while inching closer to him. "Uhhhh," he said as he thought of something to say.

"Oh, here," Bea told him before grabbing his waistband and yanking his jeans down, luckily they were really tight so there were no unnecessary accidents. She kept touching his lower back and abs, he looked petrified.

I almost had a heart attack right then and there. Is Adam not gonna do anything?!

"Okay well, that was fun. We'll talk to you guys later alright?" I stalled as we inched closer to the door. I kept interrupting them as they insisted on us staying. "Have a good afternoon!" I told them before shutting the door and quickly returning to our apartment to change back into normal human clothes.

We sat down on the comfy sofa before realizing we were in for a wild ride, and that was only the beginning.
