I felt my heart beat rise.

Did I really say that? Right in front of his face?? I just said what I'm feeling and I didn't realize until just now I felt that way...

"...you what?" his voice sounds shaky.

"I'm sorry I, I didn't realize what-" I quickly stand up.

"I have to go. I'm sorry," I run to the door.

I remember how I got here in the first place, I can't just leave.

He firmly grips my arm and holds my hand.

"Taylor wait!-" instead of talking he leads me back into his bedroom. We sit down on the edge of the bed.

I feel a lump in my throat.

"You heard what I said, last night?" I can't tell the emotion in his voice.

"Yeah, I guess I did..." I can't look into his eyes.

I interrupt him. "Listen, I'm sorry I said what I did. My emotions got the best of me and I'm too busy in my career for this kind of stuff," I took a deep breath.

The look in his eyes made me feel like a horrible person, who was I kidding.

"Zac don't get me wrong, I have so much platonic love for you. The silence between us is killing me, I want to know what you feel," I'm dying to know his side of our friendship for the past 5 years.

"I'm gonna be honest with you, I'm going to feel stupid for saying all this but we can't just forget about...what happened," he gestures his hands.

"You have always been the kind of girl that you only see once in a lifetime, it's cheesy but it's true. When my girlfriend at the time couldn't make it to my movie premiere several years ago, you ended up being my date that night, it might not seem like a big deal but you don't know how much that meant to me you know," I felt myself smile.

"Last year I was struggling so much and thankfully I overcame it but it helped me realize how happy you make me, nobody else has made me feel that way," he laid his hand on mine.

There's a silence.

I lean in and kiss him again.

Having someone show their love to you is a lot better than what I'm used to, I do love him..

He wraps his arms around me, my hands go through his hair. We lay on his bed like teenagers in love.
