ZacI had to run to the store really quick to get some expensive frosting made in Europe for Taylor's cupcakes, I could only imagine how upset she should be if I got the wrong one. Not that frosting would be the end of the world, but for Taylor it definitely would be.
Once I reached the apartment, I set down the grocery bags on the kitchen counter. I hear Taylor squeal from behind me. I stare at her as she hugs the tiny box of frosting. I clear my throat and she smiles at me before happily hugging me.
Taylor
There's a quick knock on the door and I answer it. Two bubbly figures appear in front of me holding a small plate of cookies. I was confused on who to look at since I towered over the girl but the guy directly beside her towered over everyone probably.
"Hello! I'm Beatrice, and this is my husband Adam. We're your new next door neighbors!" She beamed as she handed the plate of cookies into my hands. She had long silky brown hair and he had short brown hair similar to her hair color, the only thing different about them was that he had clear blue eyes and she had brown ones. I look at Zac, did Vanessa and Austin leave for good?
"What are your names?" Her eyes widened. They must've never heard of our work. I watch her ponytail bounce with every gesture she makes.
"Um, I'm Taylor and this is Zac," I reply not knowing how she manages to be that enthusiastic this early in the day.
"Are you too..." Beatrice moves her small fingers back and forth at us. "Yes, we are," I blush slightly. "Do you mind if we come in?" She chirped, not waiting for my response.
They walked around our home admiring every little detail.
"Oh! This is so great, Marshmallow! We could all hang out together! Have barbecues and we could even make you guys couple shirts!" She squealed. "Yes, we could Baby Bear," He immediately responded. My smile fades as I look at what they were wearing. Poorly edited pictures of their faces were glued onto their shirts, in big handwriting was a drawing of an infinity sign. I cringed for a split second not wanting them to notice how horrid I thought those shirts looked.
I look at Zac, "Baby Bear?" I mouthed. "Marshmallow?" He whispered back. I had to hold in my laughter, this can't be happening to us.
"Anyways, we would like to invite you to a barbecue that we're having! It'll be sooo much fun! With music and everything!" Beatrice jumped up and down. "Yes! We would be so happy if you guys could make it!" Adam told us.
They both handed us a small invitation with pink bows wrapped around it, it hurt so bad to look at. It had too many colors, rainbows and smiley faces on it. Did a four year old make this??
Zac and I looked at each other with wide eyes not saying a word.
Wow that was painful to write someone that annoying. lol. vote if you want to see what happens next!
