I was standing outside the living room when I heard Taylor's voice weakly scream. I go to where she was sitting and see my phone tossed on the floor, I tell Andrea and Scott to stay inside before quickly opening the door and breathlessly looking around me to find her.

There she was, sitting on the staircase, leaning against the wall. I try my best to not immediately go near her and touch her. Knowing from experience, I would rather not make her upset in without knowing what the reason is yet...

"Taylor?" I sat down next to her, trying to console her. I get no response.

Now that I'm close enough, I see that she had tears uncontrollably falling down her rosy cheeks. I would never want to see her like this...

"Please, tell me what I did wrong. It hurts to see you like this. Please, Taylor," I put my arm around her back, rubbing it. Without saying a word, she slowly pointed at my phone. I look down at my pocket and take it out. I received some new messages.

Taylor

After he finishes scrolling through the messages that I had checked, he took a deep breath. I felt too scared to look him in the eyes.

"You know I don't love Vanessa anymore, we broke up for a reason didn't we? Obviously she has some problems she needs fixed. Don't you think this is what she wanted? For us to fight? We made it this far, we can't give up now," he moved closer and held my hand. I wiped my tears and faced him.

"How about, when you have a break from promoting your album. We can go on a trip, just you and me," I bite my lip to stop myself from smiling before hugging him for an eternity.

It was weird to see all this happen. I've never had so much drama in a relationship like this. I mean, usually when something complicated comes up, they would immediately avoid the situation or argue with me until we reached our boiling point...

But I guess this was different.

I wanted to take this moment to just share how devastating it was to read about Taylor's mother battling cancer. I find it very kind of Taylor to want Andrea getting checked up as a Christmas present. Andrea has been an absolutely wonderful mother to both of her children, and since she won't live forever, I know all her fans will take care of her. Send all your love to Taylor and her family ❤️
