Venti walked into the cafe he was regularly at, almost every morning since this guy started working there. His name was Xiao, and Venti was absolutely in love with him and his constant annoyed attitude. He kept trying to flirt and get Xiao's number. But to no avail, ever.
Venti finally decided to stop, it had been 2 years and he had never gotten anywhere. He walked in the cafe ordering what he usually ordered and Xiao punched it in. When Venti didn't make his usual flirtatious comment he stood and stared at him. "Aren't you going to flirt with me and try to get my number?," He asked, rather perplexed.
"What? No...i figured I'd stop annoying you with it," Venti said sheepishly.
"I don't find it annoying...please do it," He demanded in a semi-nice way.
"Uh- if I do will you give me your number and go on a date with me?," Venti winked.
"Fine. Now flirt with me," He stared at him.
"O-okay..uhm are you wifi because I'm getting a strong connection," He cringily flirted with him, Xiao blushed.
"Good," He then wrote on the males cup both Venti's name, and his number, passing it off to one of the baristas. "Thank you, now go there's a line," He shooed Venti away.
Venti was puzzled at the situation but just went to wait for his drink. He picked it up and called out for the whole cafe to hear "bye my love, Xiao~," Before walking out, leaving Xiao a blushing mess.
Xiao scowled, he didn't quite know when in the two years he had regrettably fallen for the twink with braids. But he did. And he enjoyed the males company and flirtatious tones. He wasn't used to getting flirted with, especially not that consistently. Maybe that's why he had fallen for Venti, but he doubted it. He had never liked anyone romantically or other wise. So the news not only came as a shock to him, but a shock to everyone else.
"Xiao?," One of his coworkers asked during their break, "you had a boyfriend and never told us?," He asked.
"He's not my boyfriend," He tried to deny as his coworker was just in his own world.
"Oh! So that's why he's been coming in every day you've worked for the last 2 years!," It all made sense to him now.
"T-that's not- wait what? He only comes in when I'm working?," He asked, blushing, which was a very rare sight for Xiao.
"Yep! We don't see him when you're not there," His coworker stated.
Xiao opened up his mouth to say something when his phone started buzzing with Venti's messages.

Okay.Venti blushed, he couldn't believe what just happened, this whole day was super confusing to him. But he finally made Xiao come around. He smiles brightly, today couldn't get any better.
Venti patiently waited for Xiao's shift to be over, putting on his cutest outfit and going to pick him up. He rocked on the balls of his feet, his braids swaying with him. Xiao was cleaning up when he saw Venti outside of the cafe. He sighed at let the boy in who quickly embraced him in a tight hug.
"What are you doing?," He asked in disgust.
"A-affection?," Venti said in a questionable tone, as if, not even he knew what he was doing.
"Disgusting," Xiao paused, looking Venti up and down before looking in his eyes "Give me more of it," He demanded.
Venti laughed before embracing the male once again, Xiao looking down at the boys head, touching it and stroking it like Venti was a cat. "Why is your hair so fluffy?," He questioned, burying his fingers into it.
"Uh- I wash it well I guess?," Venti shrugged enjoying the boy playing witj his hair until Xiao suddenly stopped.
"Interesting. Now I have to clean, make yourself scarce," Xiao said, continuing to sweep, mop, wipe down counters and clean machines.
Venti waited until Xiao got done, he hoped that Xiao would romantically lift him off the counter and carry him. But, it was Xiao, and Xiao just looked at him and told him he was done, waiting for Venti to finish getting out the door before locking up the store.
"Soo~ you hungry? We could go out for dinner," He hummed.
"Yes, why not, where?," He asked, looking at Venti
"Well, I know this incredible place!," He smirked.
A short drive later Venti took Xiao inside.
"Venti. This is a bar," He looked at Venti, fully unimpressed at the location.
"Yeah! They have incredible dandelion wine! Cmon I know the owner," He smiled brightly, but Xiao wasn't having it.
"No, I'm leaving," He walked out, Venti running after him.
"I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry," He tried nuzzling against him for forgiveness.
"Actual food now," Xiao huffed.
"Yessir! Sorry babe," He kissed Xiao's cheek, earning a blush from him.
"Wh-what did you just do to my cheek?!," He squeaked.
"It's a kiss," Venti laughed "you're so clueless it's adorable"
"Whatever, food...let's go" He grumbled, getting into the car.
Venti got in the drivers sighed with a giggle, driving to his house.
"Are you kidnapping me?," Xiao looked at him unimpressed.
"No, just trust me," Venti smiled.
