"Dy.." I said as I entered Dad's office in our house. I kissed him on his cheeks tapos ay umupo sa chair sa tapat ng table niya.

"How have you been? Work is being hectic and I can't find a time for you,"

"It's fine, Dad." I gave him a sad smile. Sanay naman na ako and hindi naman ako nagtatampo pa. I mean, Dad provides me of everything I need and even my leisure. I understand his work ever since before kaya walang problema sa akin kung bihira na lang kaming makapag-usap nang ganito.

But what bothers me is that I feel like we are already away from each other. Parang hindi ko na siya makausap sa mga bagay na nararamdaman ko o kaya about sa mga problema ko. Parang ang layo na nang loob ko sa kanya.

"Papaalam sana ako Dad. May celebration po iyong mga block since kakatapos lang po ng finals. Can I go?"

I hold my breath waiting for his approval. Nang ngumiti siya ay nakahinga ako nang maluwag.

"Just take care of yourself. Huwag kang umuwi mag-isa o pwedeng doon ka mag-stay kina Dani or Margo. I'll send Lando to drive for you,"

"It's fine Dad. Sabay na po ako kina Dani,"

"Alright. Mag-iingat ka. And thanks for informing me, Jorella. Ayoko lang talagang nag-aalala sa 'yo dahil hindi ko alam kung nasaan ka."

I hugged him before walking towards the door. Pero bago pa ako makalabas ay tinawag niya ulit ako.

"What do you think of having your car again?"

"Daddy?" Kasi hindi ako makapaniwala. He's giving me back my car?

Kinuha niya sa drawer iyong key and key fob ng car ko! Pati iyong mga cards ko!

"I am certain that you did good this sem so here they are," he said while slipping them towards me. Agad kong kinuha iyon sa table niya at niyakap siya nang mahigpit.

"Thank you Daddy! Love you!" I said cheerfully kaya natatawa siya.

"At huwag mo ng awayin ang kapatid mo. You know I'll give everything that you wanted right?"

"Yeah, yeah. Thanks again Dy!" Masyado na akong good mood para isipin pa iyon. Gosh, namiss ko na mag-drive! "I'll go ahead na po. Love you!" I waved my hand as I went out of his office.

Ngiting-ngiti ako habang nagma-make up. See you soon my dearest designer brands. We'll have a huge reunion!

Nang matapos akong mag-ayos ay dumiretso ako sa kwarto ni Karus dahil sabay na kaming lalabas. I knocked on his door that immediately opened.

I held my breath when he looked at my body from head to foot. I was wearing an asymmetrical black top partnered with loose maong pants.

"Uh, let's go?" he suddenly came back to his senses. Pumasok siya ulit sa kwarto niya para kuhanin na iyong maleta niya.

"I hope you had a good stay here in our house, Karus." Tita Antonia gave him a hug. Nasa main door kami para makapagpaalam sila kay Karus bago umalis.

"Of course Tita." He replied.

"I'm looking for you as my colleague hijo. You've got a good skill. You'll be great." Daddy said while tapping Karus' shoulder.

"Thank you Tito. I learned a lot from you."

"I hope you can still tutor me?" I rolled my eyes dahil ang pabebe na naman nitong si Dessa.

Tipid lang siyang nginitian ni Karus at saka pumasok na sa sasakyan. Pumasok na rin ako sa loob dahil ihahatid muna ako ni Kuya Lando kina Dani bago ihatid si Karus.
