Two more chapters, then a sequel, people!

"Well, look what the cat dragged in," Louis whispered into Audrey's ear, not even five seconds after she'd stepped out of the Floo into the Fudge Manor, after using Dumbledore's fireplace like everyone else.
"Louis, let her breathe, for Christ's sake!" his Mother berated, pottering through the door and into their function room, his the newly-coined Minister of Magic in tow. Oh, how her two siblings must be proud of her.
"Get out of her feet, boy! Give her a minute," he said, straightening his tie in the mirror. Swallowing his pride, Louis stepped away, but not without a glare that turned into a scowl before he turned around. "Louis, take her upstairs. Her dress is in your room. Take her, let her change then bring her back down. Make sure you're here with her before seven," he spoke again, looking at his son in the mirror, whose eyes turned to hers with a smirk only she could see, and she suddenly wished she'd declined the invitation that Draco persuaded her to accept.
"Come on then, Audrey. Needn't waste any time. Maybe on the way you can tell me about your new school," he said, transparently whilst making his way towards the stairs.
"Don't be shy, dear. He won't kill you, I promise," she chuckled, but she begged to differ. On second thought, there was more chance of her killing herself than her following Louis Fudge to his room with full confidence that she wouldn't be harmed in one way or another.
Her feet moved her to his direction, and she was soon following him up the stairs. She'd felt very underdressed in the room with Louis's parents, in just some Muggle denims and a blouse. They had their ball outfits on, apart from Louis, who was wearing attire similar to hers, and she dreaded to think about if he were going to get dressed simultaneously with her.
She remained behind him while walking, and silent, just as he was, and the eventual turning and opening of a door knob broke the comforting quiet, and she was suddenly brought back to the prospect of entering a room with Louis Fudge for up to forty-five minutes.
"Come on in. You'll have to get used to it. Of course, you won't be the only on in here," he drawled, causing her to wrinkle her nose. "I'll even offer you a drink. Some butterbeer satisfactory enough for the Queen of Sheba, I'll hope?"
"How lucky of me."
"Lucky indeed. You know, I was thinking we could just keep this house. Practicable, wouldn't you agree? Eighteen bedrooms. Only a few of the kids will have to share," he mused.
"How many times must I tell you?" she gritted.
"Oh yes, I know. None of my children in your ever fertile womb, blah blah blah. We'll just see. My spring chicks will be coming and coming."
"Oh yes, spring chicks. Let's just hope the inbreeding doesn't cause them to have clubbed feet. I heard having a half-uncle who's your spouse's uncle is game for clef palettes."
"Shut up and get in. I have an offer for you."
------------------------------------------------------------
Draco waited patiently in the Atrium, scanning around for Audrey's arrival with the Fudge's. Everyone knew his acceptance to Minister of Magic was something he'd 'worked' for, and dragging the dead Minister's daughter to the ball with his insufferable son was a real lick on the arse of Wizarding Britain.
She told him at first that she assumed she'd be going with Dumbledore, but was proved wrong when she received a letter, telling her to wear navy to match Louis's dress robes. However, he knew that she was arriving in a stunning golden-yellow number in approximately two minutes, to his watch.
