"And that's it for 'Ethereal' I suppose. Mona, —I'm flattered that you made me a tiny romance book about this 'imaginary' guy." Y/N said as she looked at her best friend, Mona, who was her desk buddy.

The rays of sunshine going through the clear glass window made their cheeks feel warm, it was a nice day today. May 1st. Y/N loved reading fanfictions written by Mona. Mona, the girl who was into astrology and writing— decided to make a gift for Y/N, for being BEST friends for 10 whole years. Preschool to 8th grade. All thanks to technology in the modern days, Mona had started to attend literacy clubs (to write more stories for her future career and of course for Y/N) and astrology clubs online.

"Why thank you—" Mona was about to say something else but Y/N cut her off.

"It's the best book ever, really. There's some mistakes here and... there.. but, I'm totally out of character. Perhaps I can help you with that? —I can help you with the rewrite and you can show it to other people!" The H/C haired girl exclaimed.

Mona puffed her cheeks, crossed her arms and made a small noise, "hmph, I worked really hard on it, and it was for you too! Seemed like you weren't satisfied with my '10 year friendship anniversary' gift. But, yeah sure... you can help me with the rewrite." Mona sighed. "A-Anyways, any thoughts about the bard?"

Y/N slouched down in her seat, sad that he wasn't real. "That imaginary bard you came up with? Hell, I wish he was real. I'm in love with ANOTHER fictional character. Damn you Mona, for making another great character. Curse you and your imagination!"

"Now now, don't get upset with me. Hm. I think he could BE actually real, and my astrologist mind tells me so." Mona calmed her down. "Don't doubt the future Astrologist, pianist."

Mona and her creative mind these days. I like how most of her settings in her books are always in the past, I heard old Monstadt and Liyue were the most prettiest cities ever with the most amazing festivals. I wish I was in the past!

I absolutely love Mona, but she could be a bit... weird sometimes in her writing and imagination. Using TSUNDERE in a book? I'm sorry but it's a bit cringe don't you think? And, telling me that this new fictional character is real? I doubt it. There is no way that a handsome character like that would be alive and real. But, if he WERE real, I would be a screaming mess right now.

Mona told me I could choose any name I want for the bard, I chose Venti as a joke. She took it way too seriously. I ended up liking the name, 'Venti,' as I read the name that always appears in the paragraphs. Venti as in a Starbucks size or Venti as a boys, girls, their's name? I find it cute. Maybe I'll meet a guy thats like the bard or has the name Venti someday.

My best friend grabs the book and shoves it in my backpack, I quickly thank her for the kind gift. I'll always make sure to reread the cute parts in the books and imagine them in my head till I sleep. It's a habit for me. She told me when she's going to make the rewrite, I'll have to give it to her.

The bell rings at 11:50, all of our classmates get up and head to the cafeteria. I make sure to get my wallet and zip up my backpack. While standing up, I saw Aether and Lumine walk across the hallway outside our classroom door, I give them a quick wave and Mona does the same: They waved back and told their little sister, Paimon, to wave back at us. Their faces were looking at the white-haired little girl but immediately jumped when they saw a teacher. The twins pick up Paimon and probably..? run to their destination somewhere in the school.

Mona follows me to the cafeteria. As we walk in the hallways, we saw Mrs. Jean and Mrs. Lisa, as well as Amber and Noelle. We give them our little waves and walk right past them. There's Fischl, Bennett and Razor. Bennett tried to impress the two by jumping and trying to reach the top of the door, he almost made it. Fischl does the exact same and made it! The two boys exclaimed and clapped for her.
