Ethereal = Venti x Reader

Realization

    The brunette points at the tired Y/N, "is that your sister?"

     "No..? We don't even look alike.." sighed Aether, as he facepalms. Y/N gets off of Venti's back and stands beside him.

The girl in red laughs nervously, "Oh. ...Haha..!" She stops laughing and smiles at Y/N, "Out-rider Amber here, nice to meet you!" Amber chirped as she stuck her hand out for Y/N to shake.

The h/c haired girl smiles slightly back at her and shook her hand, "I'm Y/N."

"I've heard you before! Pianist of Monstadt! But, I didn't recognize you at first because you were on the bard's back. Sorry about that!" Amber said as she stop shaking Y/N's hand. Y/N responds with a nod and looks at Aether, slightly blushing.

The bard coughs and gently kicks her foot, whispering, "say something, it's getting awkward here you know!"

Y/N glared at him then looked at Amber, who was fidgeting with her hair. She decided to make small talk to satisfy Venti's needs, "So... —uh. How are you?" Her voice sounding irritated.

    "Hm?" Amber looked up at her and put on a cheeky smile, "Oh , I'm good! And how about you?"

   "I'm alright I suppose." The pianist replied. It was quiet for a few seconds until Venti spoke up.

"Say, let's steal all the wine here, yeah?" Venti joked as he nudged Y/N's arm with his elbow, Y/N groaned. She only wanted to see Aether right now, since she hasn't seen him for a few weeks.

"What a great idea bard! Ahah, just joking. Master Diluc will be very angry at us." Amber joked with him as she walks to Venti, "I also have something to tell you, it's about Liyue Harbour."

Venti nods and they both go walk to a corner to talk about it. It's just Y/N and Aether now... Y/N walks up to Aether and smiles, "Hi!"

Aether blushes and smiles, "Hello...! How are you today?"

"I'm good, and how about you—?"

Y/N got cut off by Venti's stomping, to his way beside her. He puts his arms on his hips  and smiles, "good evening you two! Ah, I heard there was going to be a Festival tomorrow. Amber decided to invite us to the Lantern Rite festival. Are you two willing to come with the magnificent knight?"

"A festival huh? Well sure, I'll go." Y/N said as she smiles, Aether looks at Venti and nods.

"Yay! Ahem.." Venti clears his throat and calls for Amber, "seems they want to come with us."

"Great!" Amber chirped as she skips over to them, "let's go!"

Venti giggled, "it's the first time im going to a festival with my best friend. That'll be so awesome!"

"Your first festival with a friend?" Wondered Y/N. "really?"

"Hehe, yeah." Venti laughed nervously.

Y/N sighs and puts her hands on her hips, "Well then, I hope we can go to festivals together forever. I'm not letting a friend go to a festival alone ever again!"

Venti nodded excitedly and put on a cheeky smile, "yay!"

Amber gazed at Aether who looked confused, but happy for them. Then the blonde boy noticed her looking at him and gave her a smile. Amber smiled back and looked at the bard and the pianist again. Venti was clinging onto Y/N and tried to drag her out of the Dawn Winery.

"Let. Me. Go..! Venti!!" Whined Y/N, as she tried to push him away, holding onto the doorframe.

Venti was panting, "—No! Let's go! Please! I want to go to the festival with you right now!"
