Ethereal = Venti x Reader

Three of us!

It was morning, Y/N and Venti were looking around the city for Aether for some reason.

"Aether!" She shouted, "Aether!!"

No response.

"Aether!"

The bard groaned.

"Aether—" Venti covered her mouth.

"Mmmph..!!" Y/N Mumbled, the Bard rolled his eyes. The girl stopped making noise and glared at him, Venti took his hand away from her mouth.

"Let's play a game called... the staring contest! 1, 2,3.. Go!" He stares into her e/c eyes, Y/N found it intimidating at first but stared at him back. Venti was kinda shaking because she looked scary.

"Hello!" A high pitched voice spoke up, the two flinch and looked at the person who spoke, it was Paimon. "Paimon's wondering what you two were doing...?"

"Ah, Hello Paimon! We were just having a staring contest, that's all." He said, Y/N nodded but didn't say anything.

"Ohh Paimon's sees!" Paimon chirped, "Can Paimon stay with you guys until Aether comes back? He says he has some business to do, but Paimon's not sure what kind of business.."

"Yeah sure," Y/N smiled slightly, "So, what do you guys want to do?"

The three thought about it, until the bard spoke up, "I know, why don't we go to Y/N's house and do some fun activities!"

"Erm.. okay.." Y/N shrugged, Paimon nods happily and they start walking to Y/N house. Venti and Paimon started to make fun of each other which made Y/N annoyed, but she promised herself not to snap again like last time. Her eyes twitched when they started to become louder, and the people around them started staring at them.

"Shh! Be quiet you two, before we make a scene." Scolded Y/N, as she put up a finger to her lips. Both of them nodded slowly and stopped talking. They arrived at her house, still outside the house though.

"Soo... you live with the shopkeeper? Huh.. interesting!" Paimon chirped, Venti had a bright smile on his face.

"Y/N and I had a sleepover a long time ago, and her bed is so comfy!" Bubbled Venti as he jumped up and down, "It was like sleeping on a cloud-"

"So you two slept together? Wah... that's what I thought-" Paimon got cut off by the bard and the pianist shouting.

"No!!" They shouted at the floating child, mad and embarrassed. Their faces were heating up.

"I meant to say was.. I slept on her extra mattress!" Venti yelled.

"Paimon's toast! Sorry!!" Paimon apologized and laughed nervously. Y/N rolls her eyes and opens the door.

"Look's like Blanche isn't home.. she's probably at the cathedral with her girlfriend.." Y/N sighed and smiled.

"Woo! I'm proud of Blanche!" Venti cheered, Paimon claps her hands. The three went inside Y/N's house, Y/N took off her shoes and looked up at Venti.

"Venti, remove your shoes please, we don't want dirty footsteps in the house..." She said, scratching behind her head with an awkward laugh. Venti nods and takes off his shoes, he looks at Paimon and looks at her feet, 'oh right, Paimon floats so she doesn't have to remove her shoes..' he thought. Y/N locks the door and goes to the kitchen. Venti sat on the green couch and Paimon does the same, he looks at her in confusion.

"What tone-deaf bard?" She asked, looking up at Venti as she swung her tiny legs. Venti shook his head and looked away. 'Paimon sitting...that's cursed.' He thought.
