Ethereal = Venti x Reader

      Y/N smiled at him, he smiled back. They both just stared at each other for a while. Just two people admiring each other's faces.

The blue-haired fellow frowned, "Are you sure you're real? I'm gonna be sad if you aren't."

"I am real! Jeez..." the girl crossed her arms, "Don't doubt on me. As I said, I will find you."

"That last part you said was a bit too weird, eh? Stalker much. —But anyway, what if we can't find each other?" Venti's voice sounded quiet, and he let out a sigh.

"Well then... I don't know..." she said in a gentle sad voice.

"Let me do something for a second, ehe." He stood up, took Y/N's hand and helped her stand up.

"And what are you going to do?" She asked as she stands up.

"I know this is a bit sudden but-" he pulled her close to him, wrapping his arms around her. "One last hug before we might not see each other again."

Y/N was shocked, she didn't know what to say. She was about to wrap her arms around Venti-

Beep! Beep! Beep!

I groan and grab the phone that was beside me, it was mom who was calling me. I love you mom but you just ruined the best dream I ever had.

"Hello?" I said, my voice sounding sleepy.

"Young lady, you aren't answering my texts! I am so mad, I was getting SO worried." She shouted through the phone.

"I was taking a nap.." I whine. "I'm sorry."

"Oh, it's alright. Anyways, I won't be home till 2:30 a.m. there are 50 dollars on the counter if you want to buy your food. It's only 6:56 right now, so you can go to the convenience store and buy your food there." My mom said. "Also, sleep at 10:30! You always sleep at 12 or later on school days!

"Okay, okay-" I tried to speak but I kept getting cut off.

"Oh my gosh! It's so busy here! I need to go! Sorry, I'll make it up to you tomorrow by buying your favourite ice cream." She said in a sad tone.

"Haha, it's okay ma. Love you, bye-bye!!" I exclaimed.

"I love you too my baby!!" She chirped and she hung up the call. Then in text, she sent me a bear gif that said, 'I love you!' I sent one back and smiled to myself.

I get up and tidy up the bed, leaving my bedroom while my back ached. I took a long stretch then I took the house keys and the money that was on the counter. I slipped on my shoes and left the house.

"That ride was so long, you woke me up from a good dream. Hehe— Oh! I'll get the boxes mom!" heard a voice from afar. There were moving trucks and two people getting the boxes out of the trucks and putting them in their house that was across from mine. I couldn't see their faces but I shrugged it off and kept on walking to the convenience store.

The sky was purple, red and orange, it had a comfortable atmosphere which made my heart feel warm. I loved this feeling. As I walked passed the playground, 3 children were playing tag while a green-haired woman and white-haired male (around my age) were watching over them, it all felt so calm in this neighbourhood.

I soon step into the convenience store, it was quite large. It had everything you can think off—well not really. The white walls and lights burned my eyes because of how bright it was. I went to grab the stuff I like, mini apple pie, my favourite drink and some ingredients to make my favourite meal. I go up to the counter and pay for my stuff. Yes, I'm very quick when it comes to shopping. Grabbing the plastic bags, I walk out the door. -2021...

"Hey, I saw you before..." the guy said, in a puzzled tone.

I look up and my eyes shot wide open. It's the guy from my dream. Except, his braids are faded into dyed blue. His smile grew wide as he takes his hands away from his pockets. I drop my stuff and stare at him in shock.

He runs over to me, arms open wide. Happiness was all over his face. I smile and my arms instantly open, as if it were an instinct.

"Y/N!"

He jumps into my arms, and i spin him. Luckily, there was soft grass beside the convenience store (for sum reason) and we land on it. It hurt, but that didn't matter.

"Venti... oh my gosh..." I softly spoke. "You... you're... you're..."

"I'm..? Here!" he chirps, looking directly into my e/c's.

I mumble, "you... you found me..."

I shake my head, "You found me! Wasn't I suppose to find you first?"

"You were taking wayy too long!~ ehe... I was getting impatient," Venti cooes, getting up. Then, he helps me up and we stand there.

"So, you're my neighbour. You live right infront of my house. What a coinkidoink," I said. "How'd ya find me?"

"I secretly followed you after putting the boxes in my house— that sounded creepy..."

"It is creepy, Ven!" I laugh. "I'm so glad you're here though... and I'm so glad you're real! You know, my friend Mona wrote that book."

"She's awfully talented, which makes me scared..." he raised a brow, then he smiles. "Want to recreate those scenes from the book with me?"

"Sure, at my place. But first, let's get some icecream Venti."

He nods and holds my hand. I look at the ground then at him, my hand slowly reaching over to his face and cupped his cheek. Venti's face flushed, and I leaned in closer. He closes his eyes and I close mine.

Our lips touched.

It stayed like that for a good 30 seconds and I pull away.

"I love you too Venti... Finally, you're mine!"

"Hey, that's my line!"

Wow, an actual ending to this book. This is thanks for reading all 2 hours of it.

Making this book was a total disaster, but it was fun nonetheless. Actually, I've decided to maybe become a writer in the future (if my other options for a job is not perf for me.) The readers commenting or voting or reading Ethereal, you motivated me to write more and improve on writing.

I like to look back at this, about 7 times this year,  and point out the stuff that's bad and want to improve on. Think of this as a starting to my "mini future opportunity!!"

As you all know, im a huge venti lOVRRR and I'm willing to make more Venti x Readers... maybs you will see other characters like Xiao or Diluc OR tartaglia wink wink... that'll take like years tho so idk...
