Chapter 25: At Last Prince Arash

"Hello everybody" – greeted Arash standing in a podium – "I'm here to talk about the events that happened a week ago" – he started – "there are a lot of rumors surrounding the situation and things that have been said by unknown sources, but everything have been that just rumors and the important thing is that we are all okay and we are gonna move forward just like we did after The Snap, just like we been doing after The Blip and we will rise" – he stated gaining applauses from the people present in the conference room
Arash looked around at the reporters, then he looked around at Razia, Ervin, Irsia, Dastan, Elika, Farah, Eddie, Thor, Tamina, Felicia, Shirin, The Immortals and then his eyes landed on Peter...his boyfriend.
"We can thank the new group of heroes of Persia, The Immortals for their work on those events and we can count on them on any other menace to come" – said Arash pointing at the group that receive applauses from the crowd – "I also will like to say an important statement..." – he trailed gaining back the attention of everybody and the press moved the reporters moved the microphones closer to him – "I been your Prince ever since my parents were gone, I started to do this when I was 13 years old, just a little pre-teen, it's been 8 years since that and 5 years ago I became your King giving the situation that concurred in the world" – he explained – "but now...other situations are calling for a change again" – he added – "I Arash Mohammadi, King of Persia and Protector of the Country as Vizier will step down my role as King, my uncle Ervin Mohammadi, will ascend to the role and become your new King" – he stated
Cameras flash all over the place and people talked between each other, the teen knew it was probably about the rumors that weren't so untrue as he was claiming them to be, apparently someone somehow manage to give the press information about him being involved in the attack of Zagros, maybe step down his role as King sends the wrong message and make people think that is real, but he knows he is doing this for the best.
"I know this will come as a shock to a lot of you, but I'm only doing it because there is not a better person to rule this country than my uncle, something I have learned ever since becoming King is that this job is not easy and being so young just makes it even harder, so he will do this better than me" – explained Arash – "also other thing that lead to this decision is the creation of this new team, The Immortals will be the protectors of this country and all middle east which leaves my job here basically useless" – he added – "but this is not a goodbye, is a welcome to better things to come, so all we are gonna do is keep rising as we always do...thank you" – he finished and stepped down the podium
