Chapter 24: The Aftermath

"Where am I?" - asked Arash confused looking his surrounding there was water on the floor and a red and golden light were shining around the place
"You did it" - said a woman's voice making the Persian boy turn around
"Na- Natasha?" - Stutter Arash while she nodded - "Nat!" - He cried getting close hugging the woman standing in front of him - "oh god...I can't believe this" - he said crying in the arms of the red hair
"Everything is gonna be alright" - said Natasha rubbing the boy's back
"Are you gonna go back...can we...can we bring you back?" - Asked Arash separating enough from the hug to look at the woman who shook her head
"I paid the price for doing the right thing" - said Natasha
"I guess I did as well" - sighed Arash

After the battle with Thanos most of the heroes returned to their places to celebrate the aftermath since everybody was back and the titan was now defeated and gone, some heroes where on an "Emergency Compound" that Tony bought in case something happened to the original one.
Bruce, Tony, Peter, Thor, Farah, Eddie and even Doctor Strange were in that Emergency Compound waiting for a change on the state of the King of Persia who hasn't wake up ever since the battle.
"Tony I hate this as much as you...but I think we should give up" – said Bruce taking off his glasses to rub his tired eyes sighing
"No, there's gotta be something, some way..." – trailed Tony
"It's been 5 days, I know his body is still warm as if he will wake up, but not even F.R.I.D.A.Y. could read his vitals...I think we gotta just accept that he is-" – said Bruce
"Don't you dare to say it" – warned Tony mad
"I know is hard Tony, we have lost Nat and now maybe...but we need to say it and accept it" – explained Bruce
"Why don't you go and say it to the kid first if you are so eager to accept it?" – asked Tony pointing at the medical room on
Arash was lying the bed inside the medical room with machines attached to him that didn't show any signals of him being alive, his body was warm but he wasn't breathing at all, Peter was there holding the hand of the Persian boy that had his ring on and it was the arm with the big glowing scar on it, the brown haired boy looked at like he hasn't sleep well and have been crying a lot.
