I sat down on my motorbike, adjusting my leather jacket and hair as I prepared to go on my hours journey. I put on my helmet, then listened in on my exhaust roar out loud, as I played with the handle bars- that revved my engine. I set off and I was so eager to kill Dortlich, I never felt so pumped before.
——— an hour or so later ———
I pulled up around the corner of the police station. The location was rather unclean and not a very good place to spend your holiday at. I took off my helmet and stared at people walking past me, kicking up dirt with their cheap, broken shoes. I didn't like the fact that I would be leaving my motorbike here in the streets but I couldn't take it with me, plus I won't be long. I hung my helmet on my handlebars and kicked the footrest down. I decided to keep my gloves etc on, so then I can make a quick escape and leave little evidence behind. I got off my bike and marched over to the police station, often looking behind myself to check on my motorbike.
I opened up the doors to the police station and noticed straight away, that it was practically empty. I slowly walked in, viewing the decorated walls. Dortlich had revolved the entire station around him, framing photos of himself getting awards or showing off beaten men, and holding them up like a trophy. They were disgusting photos and no wonder the town was in the slums. The receptionist had his eyes closed, resting his head down on the desk. I slowly walked around the desk and noticed some alcohol under his desk, it was strong stuff too. I checked the mans pulse and he was still alive, thankfully. I searched his body and took his keys from him, and there was a few keys on him. I came across his hand cuffs, so I decided to cuff him to the desk so he couldn't come running to help Dortlich.
After wandering around the Empty station, I came across his office. Feeling so eager and pumped, I pressed my ear against the door and heard nothing from the other side. I slowly creaked open his office door and saw the room was empty, irritating me a lot. I marched over to his desk and noticed a note on his desk.
'Taking a break to get some donuts. If you need me, ask Tyler where I am because I'm not taking my phone' the letter said. However, the ink was extremely dry and the letter was a few hours old, not sure how old though. I searched his drawers and found his phone and a gun, that I happily tucked away in my pocket. He didn't have a passkey on his phone, which was stupid of him. I looked through his texts and saw he was still in contact with the other men, so I could get all their locations and I wanted Grutas' location the most. But just to my luck, Grutas' was the only one he didn't stay in contact with. However, he had been texting Kolnas - one of the four men. I checked through the messages and they knew I was targeting them all, and they were arguing about what to do. I smirked a little, they were clearly petrified and I was glad they knew I was coming - or Hannibal, they weren't sure who. Makes this hunt more satisfying. I heard a door shut, then someone whistling as keys rattled together. I slightly sighed, as I put away Dortlich' phone and hurried to a wall, listening in. He spoke to the drunken receptionist, in French but I was fluent in it.
"Hey old man. I'm off to grab my order, and it's TYLER! Not Taylor, dumbass. Oh, and also if Dortlich comes back. Tell him to fuck off" he groaned to the passed out, chained receptionist. I smirked, then decided to follow.——— centre of the town———
I leaned on a wall inside an apartment block. I kept peering outside, waiting for Tyler to come through with his full stomach on the donuts I just watched him eat, and in a rather trampy manner. The streets were mildly busy, so what I plan on doing to him must be fast and effective. I tapped the gun - I stole from Dortlich's office - on the plastic bag I found on the floor, as I waited for Tyler to pass by. I heard some keys faintly jingle together so, I peered my head out the apartment block again and saw Tyler walking over to my direction, wiping at his nose. I waited for him to get closer and as he passed by the apartment block, I quickly put the bag over his head and pulled him inside the building. Since the town was so shady, the glass windows were all boarded up with metal bars and the doors were heavy. I heard Tyler slap the floor while I adjusted the slammed shut doors to make sure nobody could get in. I spun around, letting out a relieved sigh seeing Tyler on the ground trying to take the plastic bag off his face. I stormed over, feeling a rush of adrenaline as I picked him up by his head and slammed him against the cold, dirty wall. I knew I had to be quick, as the police would be arriving any minute. I pushed my body against his and leaned in beside his ear.
"Where's Dortlich?" I asked him In a demanding but a quiet tone, tightening the plastic bag around him. I saw him gasping for air, as his heart was beating like a humming bird and I felt so impatient, imagining that Tyler was Dortlich.
"Fuck you-" he coughed up, as he sucked up all the remaining air in the bag. I ripped the bag off him, flipped him over to face me. The terror on his face was hilarious, especially when he tried to mask his horror with confidence. I put my hand under his chin and put the gun in his mouth. He was shaking In fear as he looked into my eyes.
"Where-is-he?" I shouted to him, hearing civilians gasp outside the building, mumbling between them all.
"I don't know?!" he lied, sounding a little muffled from the gun in his mouth. I whacked him around the face with the gun - bruising his cheek - and put it back into his mouth, putting my other hand around his neck.
"I'm not playing around, tell me now!" I shouted. He closed his eyes as sweat drew all over himself.
"A cabin.. just outside of town. W-West of here" he confessed. I smirked slightly, hearing the sirens outside.
"Thanks so much, Tyler. You've made a girls day" I pulled the trigger and his brains splattered all over the walls. I got off Tyler and his body dropped to the floor. Tyler's face was completely blown off, showing parts of his skull off, it was a pleasuring sight for me but wasn't half as satisfying as I expected, but good enough. The police started to bang on the door, so I hurried up the stairs. Once I was on the third flight of stairs, I heard the police bang open the door and gasp, seeing Tyler dead."I want them alive!" Ordered one of the men. I heard the footsteps hurry behind me so I went faster. I saw someone left their apartment door open so I ran through. I heard the residents gasp, seeing me and the police run through. I ran to their balcony and I stood on the railing, seeing the drastic fall but the building in front. I turned around and saw two police men, pushing their way towards me. I took a deep breath then a leap of faith. The police men gasped as they tried to grab me but I was just out their reach. I looked down at the ground and my eyes widened seeing the terrible fall. I grunted, hitting my stomach on the wall but grabbing the roof of the building. I pulled myself up and turned around to see the police talking in their radios, not taking their eyes off me. I flipped them off, then hurried away. As I was running on the roof tops, I saw police running at me, jumping on roofs to get to me. I quickly slid down the roof and jumped into a pile of garbage. I laid in the garbage for a few moments, looking up at the sky and seeing birds fly past as I took in gasps for air. I heard police coming from my right and I groaned in slight pain and exhaust. I hazily got back onto my feet and started to run again, loosing my footing a little but I got my balance back in time. I looked around myself and saw police coming at me from each Side of me. I ran a little faster and found myself in the streets, with civilians all spectating the police chase. I noticed a ladder leading up to a roof top, and over that roof would be the police station. I ran to the ladder and jumped on, climbing as fast as I could, hearing police hurry up behind me as I heard them clasp onto the iron bars. I didn't look back, I just hurried even faster and faster. I couldn't get caught. Not now. Not ever. I got onto the roof top and I considered kicking down the ladder but it was bolted in tight. I jogged to the edge of the roof top and saw the police station was a taller building. There was a glass window and the big drop that just lead to a concrete floor, nothing more.
"Shit!" I shrieked, realising that I'm stuck. I turned around and saw two police men slowly walking towards me.
"You've lost, little one" one said to me in a thick french accent, smirking. I slowly backed up and felt my feet get to the edge.
"Little?" I chuckled. I spun around and jumped, raising my arms to shield my face as I headed for the glass window. The police men gasped and swore in french, as they ran to the edge. The window smashed into little pieces and I hit the wooden floor, rolling into the desk. I gasped in pain, curling into a ball to deal with the impact on my stomach. I got a wave of sickness and I was only a little bit scratched up, my leather jacket and pants took the other scratches for me.
"Stay right there!" One of the police men shouted over to me.
"Mhm" I grunted to myself. I braced myself as I slowly sat up, shrieking in pain. I slowly got onto my feet and leaned on the desk, and it was just a random officers desk, I saw that from the family photo framed. I limped out the office and leaned on the door frame, to rest up and to listen out for any footsteps. It seemed they weren't in the building yet. I limped to the fire exit and the corridors seemed so long, but once I made it I felt so so so relieved.I got onto my motorbike and I leaned on the handle bars, taking in gasps of air. I slowly sat up, the pain still making my muscles stiff, and I put on my helmet, adjusting a few parts to it then I removed the footpeg, starting the engine and driving west.
