"What are you doing here?" Surprise was dominating his tone upon seeing the familiar face entering the classroom when he had expected an unfamiliar one.
The girl grinned at him with smug happiness as she leaned over, brushed a strand of (H/C) hair...
Reki was slouching in his seat at the window, not in the mood or even awake enough to be up for school. He rested his head on his arms, turning to his best friend beside him. Langa's expression wasn't particularly showing motivation either as he rummaged through his bag to take out his textbooks.
A small snowdrop keychain that was dangling from Langa's bag caught the redhead's attention. He had noticed it sometimes before already and wondered about it again and again. It was just so random and Langa didn't seem to have it for aesthetic reasons. It didn't look like merchandise either, so why did he have that random flower keychain?
Reki didn't pay it much mind when the teacher entered the classroom to start the lesson as he thought this time, he would finally ask Langa about his questionable accessory choice.
"Good morning, class. Today, we'll be welcoming a new student." The teacher announced while Reki didn't listen in the first place and leaned over to his friend. "Psst, Langa." He tried to catch the boy's attention, which he was successful with as said boy turned to him. "I've been meaning to ask, what's up with that keychain?" Reki gestured to the wintery white flower on Langa's bag.
Outside of the boys' field of attention, a person entered the classroom and stood in front of the class for their introduction.
"Oh," Langa automatically glanced at the keychain upon Reki's question. "I have it because it reminds me of someone. Her name is-"
"Hello, everyone. Nice to meet you, I'm-"

Langa turned abruptly as he realized someone spoke the name in unison with him. It had been none other than the person upfront if he heard it correctly and as he looked ahead, he was left speechless.
No way, he thought. No way could she be here in Japan! But his eyes were telling a different story. He blinked, closed his eyes several moments longer but again and again, every time he opened his eyes to find the hallucination didn't disappear.
"Reki, do I have a fever?" he asked in his stage of utter disbelief.
The redhead looked at him in confusion. "Huh? You tell me! Are you feeling alright?"
But Reki didn't get an answer. The new girl and Langa had locked eyes and the feeling was so awfully familiar. She shot him a smug smile. He must be so confused right now, she thought, struggling to keep her laughing outburst internal. He must be wondering how I got here.

"You liked him an awful lot, didn't you?" (M/N) got straight to the point upon entering (Y/N)'s room to find her moping around in bed, still being depressed after Langa left.
"It's like the wanderer and the yeti but instead of the wanderer disappearing, the yeti is gone!" (Y/N) complained sadly as she looked up from the book of her favourite story. She meant to read it in order to cheer up but because she kept finding parallels to her own life, it ended up backfiring.
