"Zac! Will! Skylar!" Noah yelled, his voice echoing through the halls of the building that was an old high school. The three of us laughed as Noah walked out of his room. His clothes soaking wet, water dripping from his clothes and hair. I smiled at him. "Hey man. Is everything okay, there? You seem a little.........wet." Will said, trying to keep a straight face.

He failed about halfway through that sentence. "You all are so DEAD!" He yelled as he started to run at us. I screamed as I started to run the other way. "Every man for himself!" I yelled as I raced away from Will and Zac.

I kept on running not looking behind me. I raced into my dad's office, closing the door behind me. "SKYLAR! WILL! ZAC!" Noah yelled as he raced away from the office that was in. "What did you, Zac, and Will do know?" A voice asked from behind me, making me jump in surprise. I turned around to see my dad smiling at me.

He chuckled and shook his head. I smiled at him. "So, are you going to answer my question?" Dad asked as he filled a piece of paper. He looked down before looking back up at me. "Well, Zac and Will talked me into putting a bucket of ice water above the door of his room. Making it so the bucket would fall on him when he opened the door. Now he's chasing us, his clothes soaking wet from the cold water." I explained.

He chuckled at me. "So you ducked into her...let me guess....to hide," he said. I slowly nodded my head. I walked over to him so I was behind his desk. I gave him a hug from behind. "What'cha working on?" I asked.

"Another case of stealing. You know the drill." dad said as he held my arm with his hand for a little bit. I nodded my head as I let go. I looked at his bald head. "I know I ask this a lot, but..........
do I really look like my mom?" I asked. "I know it's hard not to tell," I added as I walked to the over the side of the desk.

Dad looked up at me. "Yeah, you look just like her. The blonde hair, the brown part might be mine." He said. "You have her tan skin and you have her eyes." He added.

"But you have my smile, my kind, and caring personality. I have no clue where you got your creative side from." He added, making me smile at him. "I guess I just only could've kept it up," I said. He smiled back at me. "Yeah, I guess you did. Well, that and your dancing." dad said. I nodded my head. "Well, I'll leave you to your papers. I'm sure I can find a good hiding spot." I said. He nodded his head. "Bye," I said. I turned around and slowly opened the door.

"Before you go, I want you to know.....tomorrow I invited two families over. They are coming over for supper. They want me to be their new lawyer." Dad said. I looked back at him one last time before I faced forward again.

I looked both ways before I walked out of the office. I slowly closed the door behind me. I looked around the room again before I raced to one of my favorite places to hide, behind the screen in the theater. I ran and ran until I got halfway to the theater.

I only stopped because someone wrapped their arms around my body. "NO!" I screamed as realized that the person that was behind me was Noah. "I found you," he said. I tried to get out of his grip, but it only made my clothes get wet.

"You do realize that you go and hide in the same places every time something happens. You need to change your hiding habits." Noah said. I stopping fighting him. "Noah, can you put my daughter down now please?" my dad's voice asked. He turned around, making me turn around too. Dad smiled at me as a glared at him. "Okay," Noah said, sadly.

He put me down and let me go. "Thanks, Noah. Now my clothes are wet."  I said. "No problem, Sky," he said with a big smile on his face. I glared at him. "Alright, make sure there is no water on the ground please and both of you go change," Dad said, making me look over at him. I gave him I started to make my way to my room.

"Hey, Skylar." Lily Williams said as I walked down one of the halls. "Hey," I said, making me stop walking so I was in front of her. "By any chance have you seen my son?" She asked. I shook my head. "No, not since he and Will talked me into putting a bucket of cold water above Noah's door," I said.

"The three of us split so Noah wouldn't get to us......he got to me," I added. She nodded her head. "Thanks," she said before she walked away from me.

I looked at her before I turned and started to walk to my room again. I can not believe the life that I live. Kind of reminds me of 'Full house' in a way, but the house isn't small. It's a big house that eleven different people live in. All apart of one big family that isn't blood-related all the way.

Sure some of us are blood-related, but most of us aren't. We all are still a family. We all are still here for each other. We look out for each other, no matter what happens. No matter what we have to do, that will help the other people in my family.

In our family we have a motto. A motto that we all live by. 'Family first, everyone else later. Do first, ask later.' We all live by that motto. It is basically the first thing that everyone in the house learned before they moved into the house or when I was born. That was the first thing that I was taught.
