Their Second Chance- Discontinued

I woke up to someone splashing me with water. "I'm awake," I said, thinking that it was home and I didn't end up opening my eyes to see that I'm in a dark room, hanging from the ceiling. I am wearing nothing but my pants and the sports bra that I was wearing when I went to the library.

I looked around the room to see someone standing there. She is dressed in an all-black suit that has a red octopus on one of the shoulders. I looked around the rest of the room to see that there was one more person in the room with me.

Zac is chained up so he was sitting down on the ground, by the wall. He is still asleep or past out if you will. I looked back at the lady. She has an empty bucket in her hands. She gave me a look before the door opened to show a group of people, they are wearing the same uniforms that the first lady was.

I started to fight against the chains. "Unchain her." one of them said. I kept on fighting. I'm so scared. They grabbed me, making it hard for me to fight them. Once I couldn't move, two of them took the chains off of my wrists. My arms fell to my side, they were held down so I couldn't fight. 

Where's my dad?! I want my DAD! 

*Big Big Big time skip*

The soldiers that took me out of the room, ended up chaining me down to the ground, just like  Zac. At least I'm close to Zac. The only heat that is in the room is coming from me and Zac's body. That's the only reason that I am not freezing to death. Same with Zac. He's holding me close to him, trying to keep my body heat up and trying to calm me down. Not in a creepy way. 

In a brotherly way. It's been too long. I really want to leave. So does, Zac. I'm so hungry and so is Zac. But the both of us are trying our damn best, not to whine about it or complain about it. 

My mate's marks started to burn. I whined as I moved closer to Zac. "What's wrong?" He asked. "My mate marks, they are hurting," I said as a tear fell from my eye. Zac started to carefully rub my arm, trying to help me calm down. 

A siren started to go off and red lights started to flash, making me scared. My mate marks started to hurt even more as the halls echoed with gunshots and screams. Zac held me close to him. Well, tried to it was hard for him with the chains that are around his wrists and mine. 

"It hurts so much," I said. "Everything is going to be okay, Skylar. You just need to hold on. Don't accept until you see them." Zac said. I looked at him as a gunshot went off right by the door. I jumped just like Zac. 

Zac let go of me and he moved so he was in front of me. Shield me if something happens. I put my head on his shoulder as one of the many marks started to get worse. The shooting out in the hall stopped. I looked up at the door to see someone out there. "Are you guys Zac Williams and Skylar Jackson?" A robotic voice asked. 

"Yeah, who are you?" Zac asked. The door flew open to show a man in a red and yellow suit. "Do, I have to answer that?" He asked as he walked over to us. His helmet came off to show a worried Tony Stark. 

"Are you guys hurt?" he asked as he grabbed the chains that are around Zac. "No, just shaken up, cold, thirsty, and hungry," Zac answered once Tony broke the chains that were around his wrists. "Don't worry, me and my team are here to get you two to safety," Tony said as Zac was able to get up. 

Tony moved over to me. He carefully grabbed my right wrist and broke the chain off of my wrist. I accepted him and the others, knowing that they aren't bad people. He smiled at me before he broke the other chain. Without saying anything, he picked me up, holding me close to his armour. I couldn't help but shiver from the touch of the metal on my skin. "Sorry." He said. "Follow me," he said to Zac. Zac nodded his head. 

Tony and Zac started to out of the room. The two of them then raced down the hallways. That's when someone ran towards us. I knew who it was the second they got closer to use, it was Jacob. "Jacob, take her. She's freezing and it does not help that my suit is cold." Tony said. Jacob looked at me before he took me from Tony's arms. 

The second I was in his arms, I put my head on his chest. He's so warm!!! "Alright, you go ahead and bring her to the Quinn Jet. We'll meet you there." Tony said. "Alright," Jacob said. He looked around the place before he raced down the hall. "Why are you so warm?" I asked. He chuckled as he got out of the base. "I'll tell you later. Just not now," he said. I nodded my head. He moved me so my head was on his shoulder. 

I shivered as we got outside of the base. "Sorry, we'll be at the Quin jet soon. There you will get checked over and a blanket to help keep you warm." Jacob said. I hummed a response. I took my head off of Jacob's shoulder. I looked at the landscape that is around me. That's when I saw the Quin jet. 

Jacob walked up to the Quin jet, making some of my marks feel weird. The door opened to show a few people. 

Jacob walked into the Quin jet and carefully set me down on a table. "Hi, you must be Skylar. Are you in any pain? Did they hurt you?" one of the people that I recognized asked. I shook my head. "No, no.....I'm not in any pain." I answered. He nodded his head. 

I can't believe I'm talking to Bruce Banner. "Just lay down and relax. I'm going to have an AI shake you, for any other injuries that might not be able to see with the eye." Bruce said. I nodded my head as I laid down on the hard table. He gave me a sad smile. 

Tony came onto the Quin jet with Zac at his side. "Scan complete." a voice said. Jacob walked over to me. He grabbed my hand and helped me up. I climbed off the table. Black widow herself, walked over to me with a blanket. "Here you go," she said handing me the blanket. 

I smiled at her and grabbed it from her. "Thanks," I said as I wrapped the blanket around my body. I walked over to one of the seats. I sat down as Zac climbed into the table that I was on. Jacob sat down by me and put his arm around my shoulder, bringing me close to him. 

I held the blanket close to me before taking a deep breath. The door to the Quin jet closed shut. "Alright, everyone. Hold onto something. We are going to take off." Hawkeye said from the pilot seat. I looked at him to see that he was facing a window. Jacob held me closed to him as the jet took off. Once we were in the air, he took his arm off of my shoulders. 

I smiled at him before I looked at Zac. "Scan complete." the same voice said. Zac climbed off of the table. Black Widow handed him a blanket just like me. He wrapped it around his body before sitting on my other side. "Where are we anyway?" Zac asked. 

"In Russia, don't worry. We notified your families. While you guys where gone, they were crazy worried about you guys." Bruce said as he sat down on the other side of the plane. "We were in Russia." Zac said with wide eyes. "Yeah, you guys were." Iron man said as he sat down by Bruce. 

"Well, then. I guess now I can say that I was in Russia." Zac said. I looked at him like he was crazy. He looked at me with a goofy smile on his face. I smiled and shook my head as I wrapped my arms around my body. 

"Sorry, but I have to ask......Are you guys together?" Tony asked, making me look at him with wide eyes. I shook my head. "Hell no." Zac said. 

I couldn't help but laugh. "What, is it something I said?" Tony asked. I looked up at him. "No, Zac and I are not together." I said with a big smile on my face. "Skylar is like my sister and I'm like Skylar's brother." Zac said. I looked up to see Tony's face. 

"Oh.... " he said as understood that he was wrong.
