'You may have a bunch of different mates, you may be getting bullied at your school. You are still family. Even if you are not blood-related to us, but you are family.....you are our family. No matter what. We are here for you if you are here for us...
Once I was clean, I turned the tap off. I pulled the curtain open and looked around the bathroom for a clean towel. That's when I saw one inside of a clear drawer. I carefully climbed out of the shower before grabbing the towel. I started to dry my body off. "Hey, Skylar. I'm back and I have news." Nat said from the other side of the door.
"What's the news?" I asked as I started to dry off my hair. "Well, I guess you will have to see for yourself," Nat said. I smiled and shook my head. Once my hair was still damp, I started to pull on Nat's clothes, which is weird, to say the least. I mean, I'm pulling on one of my mates underwear, bra, and her clothes. The steam that was on the mirror slowly disappeared..letting me see myself in the mirror, even though there is still steam on the mirror.

Even though I'm wearing my mate's clothes, I kind of love them. "Where is a hairbrush that I can use?" I asked. "Top drawer to the right," Nat said. I opened the drawer that she told me. I grabbed the hairbrush before I brushed out my hair. Once all the knots were gone, I put the brush back in the drawer.
I closed the drawer and moved my hair so it was over my left shoulder. I put my towel in the hamper before I walked over to the door. I unlocked it and pulled it open. "Damn, girl. You look so good in my clothes." Nat said making me blush.
She smiled. "Come on. Let's go see what the news is," she added. I nodded my head before I followed her out of the room and down the hall. The very first person that I saw was Zac. He smiled at me when he saw me.
In time, I saw my mates. All of them are kind of in a huddle, blocking me from seeing someone. I looked at them all with a weird look. They all smiled at me before they moved out of the way. My eyes landed on one person. I smiled and raced over to him. I hugged him making him hug me back almost right away.
"I missed you, so..so..so..much," I said. "I missed you, my baby girl.....my little girl." dad said. I smiled as he picked me up. I hide my head in his neck as he held me up. Almost like I was a rag doll. One arm holding me up and his free hand is holding my head.
I didn't even care if my mates were watching. All I wanted to do was enjoy my dad's embrace. An embrace that I missed so...so much. "Everything is okay, Jelly Bean. You're home now." dad said before he kissed the top of my head. He put me down on the ground, making me lose my grip on him.
He pulled away and looked at everyone in the room. "Thank you all. Thank you for bringing my baby girl home." Dad said. His eyes then landed on Zac. "And my kind of son," he added making me and Zac smile.
"No problem. We will always be there for Skylar to keep her safe. But since Zac is like a brother to Skylar, we decided to keep him safe as well. Along with anyone else that she's close with." Steve said. "Will you guys be able to introduce yourself? I know some of you, but I don't know the rest of you." dad said as he looked at everyone.
*Time skip*
"And I'm Wade Wilison." another mate said. Dad looked deep in thought. "Wait, that was only fifty-six mates. Skylar, don't you have fifty-seven." dad said. I took a breath as I thought about it. "I think so.......maybe," I said.
"Kind of hard for me to know one hundred percent since all of my marks are on my back, out of my eyesight," I added after a long time.
He nodded his head after thinking. "So, I know you guys probably want Skylar to stay here with you guys, but if it's okay with Skylar. I want to bring her home." dad said. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw my mates' faces soft as they realized that I will be leaving the tower. "Of course, sir," Tony said. I looked over at him. Oh, my god. He's scared of my dad, isn't he.
I smiled and looked down at the ground. I looked up at dad. "Yeah, if it's okay. It would be nice to be able to sleep in my own bed." I said. He nodded his head. "Well, it was nice seeing and meeting you all. Again thanks a lot for saving Zac and Skylar." Dad said after he clapped his hands. Zac walked over to me with a smile on his face. The three of us then walked over to the elevator.
The doors slide open. When the three of us got into the elevator I turned around and looked at my mates. They all gave me a sad smile before the doors slide close, blocking my line of sight. Dad grabbed my hand. His big hand covering my small hand. I looked down at his hand before I looked up at him.
He smiled at me. He kissed the top of my head. I smiled at him before the doors slide open to show the lobby. The three of us walked out of the tower to what looks to be one of my dad's cars. I can not wait...to go and be home.
