(Even though she did not meet everyone yet. Who should she finish the bond with first?)

I looked at the door to see Niklaus, Hope, Edward, and Renesmee standing there. "Hi, sorry if we are barging in. Your dad said you would be here or in a couple of other rooms." Edward said. "No problem. Come on in." I said. I walked over to the radio and turned the music down some.

I then walked back over to the canvas. "This is an amazing room," Hope said with a smile on her face. I smiled at her before I started to paint. "Thanks, one of my favorite things to do. It confused dad a lot when I started to get creative and artistic. He doesn't have one creative bone in his body. Not too sure about my mom." I said as I kept on painting.

I looked over to my two mates and the two kids. "Wow, did you paint this?" Hope asked. I looked at my painting before I looked at her. She pointed at a painting of mine. I smiled and looked back at the canvas. "Yeah, I did that back when we were living in Minnesota," I said.

"It's amazing," Niklaus said

"It's amazing," Niklaus said. I smiled and went back to my painting. "Thanks," I replied. The five of us kept on talking as I painted. I got to know them all too. They also got to know a lot about me. Not too much and not the stuff that should be said in front of kids. I didn't tell them the reason that we had to leave Minnesota. I don't know or trust them that much to let them know about Minnesota.

"Okay, uhhhh.........how do you make a kleenex dance?" I asked as I cleaned off one of my brushes. "How?" Hope and Renesmee asked at the same time. I smiled at them as I looked over at them. "You put a little boogie in it," I said. Niklaus and Edward chuckled as Renesmee and Hope laughed.

I smiled at them all as I put the wet paintbrush on a towel that has paint saints on it. I grabbed a new one. I was about to put it into the paint when I thought of another cheesy joke. "What do you call a pig that does karate?" I asked. "What?" Hope and Renesmee asked. "A pork chop," I said. The two of them started to laugh again as the door opened to show an angry Bella and Hayley.

"Why are you guys here?" Bella asked. "I thought we said that we did not want our kids around her," Hayley said. I put my paintbrush down. I put the palette down on a table. "And we said it's fine," Edward said. "Were you two the ones that carried them. No.....so we get a say in what happens to our daughters." Bella said. "It's fine. It was nice getting to know you four." I said.

"No, they can stay here. They need to get to know Skylar." Niklaus said. "No, it's okay. I do not want to make anything worse. So you guys can go. I'll see you all around." I said. My two mates nodded their heads. "Hope, Renesmee, it's time to go home," Bella said.

"But, mom....."Renesmee said. "No, buts. It's time to get home." Bella said. "See you later Skylar," Renesmee said. "See you later," I said. She and Hope waved at me before they were walked out of the room. "See you later, Skylar," Edward said. I nodded my head as he and Niklaus walked out of the room.

I walked over to the radio and turned it up to the point that it was just as loud as I normally have it. I walked back over to the painting and let the music take over.

I nodded my head to the beat of the music as I put the finishing touches on the painting. The music was turned down, making me look over to see who was in the room with me. I looked to see my dad standing by the radio. "So, our guests left to go home. I was told you might still be in here," he said. I looked back at the painting. I put the brush that I was using in the cup of water that I was using to wash the brushes off.

I grabbed the cup and the palette " I decided to stay in here since some of the people that are in that group don't like me that much. I didn't want to push anything or make anything worse than it should be." I said as I walked over to the go-to sink that I use for painting.

I looked over at him before I turned the water on. I put the palette down on the counter before I took the brush out of the cup. I dumped the water down on the sink before filling the cup with clean water. I then dumped the clean water before putting the cup on the counter.

I then started to clean the last brush that I used. Once the brush was clean, I turned the water off and put the brush down on the counter. I grabbed some paper towels and dried my hands. "I still have no clue where you got your artistic skills from," Dad said, making me look over at him. He's now looking at my new painting.

I threw the towels away before I turned the water back on. I grabbed the palette and started to clean the paint off. "You are amazing. Your creative side, you dance side. I have no clue where you got it, but.....it's what makes my daughter, my daughter." he said as I turned the water off.

I put the palette down on a drying rack. I picked up the paintbrush and walked over to the easel. I put the brush onto the towel that has the rest of the wet brushes are. Once the brush was down on the towel, I looked at my painting.

"I have no clue where you got it, but I'm glad you did

"I have no clue where you got it, but I'm glad you did. Just look at this piece that you painted. It's one of the best ones yet." dad said. I looked at him. "You think?" I asked. "Yeah, of course. Sure, I do not know too much about art, but this is the bomb." Dad said. I gave him a look.

"Did you just say the bomb?" I asked. "Yes, I did. It was something people used to say a lot." Dad said. "Well, not people that live in this century. People say stuff like 'what's the tea sis?'" I said. Dad gave me a weird look.

"You kids and your slang. I have to go and get some work done. Let me know if you need anything." Dad said before he walked out of the room. I looked at the painting one last time. "Yeah, I did good," I said before I walked over to the radio.

(Later that night)

*Niklaus' view*

"Come on Hope, it's time for bed," I said. Hope looked at me before she walked over to her bed. She climbed into the bed and laid down. "Hey, dad. How come Mom will not let me hang out with Skylar?" Hope asked as I pulled the sheets over her body.

"I don't know. Maybe she's jealous that Skylar is in our life now. Maybe since Elijah was with her, but now Elijah has his mate. Just like me." I said as I sat down on the edge of her bed. "I like Skylar. She's funny and creative and smart." Hope said making me smile at her. "That she is," I said.

"I like her. I wish mom had let me stay with her longer than we did," she said.

"You should get some rest. We had a long day." I said. She turned on her side so she was facing me. "I can't wait to see her again," Hope said before she closed her eyes. I smiled at her as I rubbed her back. I can't wait to see her either.
