"Rose! Throw the ball to me!" Riley shouted from across the kids court. Rose looked flustered. She knew that if she passed the ball to Riley, one of the opponents in front of her would definitely block it. What was she to do? Her other teammates were no where to be seen. "Move closer to me!!" Rose shouted back. Riley, however, could not hear Rose's quiet and soft voice. She had no idea what she was saying. "Move closer to me!!!!" Rose shouted louder. Riley still could not hear her. "THROW THE BALL TO ME!!!" Riley, irritated that Rose still had not passed the ball, shouted even louder. Rose was worried. Her stomach dropped as she gulped. She finally threw the ball, but not to Riley. Because of all the tension, she threw it backwards to the one of the opposing teammates. He caught it and threw it to that team's captain and won. Defeated, Riley shot an angry look to Rose. "Why didn't you throw the ball to me?!" She asked angrily. Filled with fear, 9-year-old Rose held back tears. One mean teammate (from Rose and Riley's team), Sabrina, said, "You're so dumb. Couldn't you have passed it to us? Who even throws it backwards? Gosh, can we get her out of our team? Captains ball is a serious sport. Not some game for idiots,". This caused Rose to burst out in tears. "See? She's a crybaby too. Ugh, Riley, I pity you. You are such a good player but you have to be stuck with your stupid twin. Wonder why she's your twin. She doesn't deserve to be. Don't you agree?" Sabrina said. Riley said nothing. Rose, who had already felt the pressure of being a twin to a brilliant sister, couldn't take it anymore. She forcefully punched Sabrina in the face. Sabrina collapsed to the ground. Unconscious, her nose started bleeding and there was a deep on her face. The ambulance came soon after the sports coach called them. It was a horrible sight. The ambulance took unconscious Sabrina to the hospital. She was bleeding profusely when she got there.

"HOW DARE YOU?!" Sabrina's mom, Kelly, shouted angrily. "SHE'S MY BABY GIRL. ARE YOU CRAZY?! I AM GOING TO SUE YOU," Kelly added. "I'm not going to apologise. She was calling me names and blamed me for everything," Rose defiantly said. Riley, eyes wide open, nudged Rose. Rose acted as if she could not feel Riley poking her in the arm. "SO WHAT?! YOU LOST THE GAME. YOU DESERVE IT! HOW DARE YOU? WHERE ARE YOUR PARENTS? I'M SURE THEY'LL BE VERY PROUD OF YOU. DON'T YOU THINK?" Kelly raged. After a few minutes of lecturing, the doors opened. It was Rose's and Riley's parents.

"Ah, you must be the parents. Lavender, or what ever you call her, punched my daughter in the face and knocked her out," Kelly's mom said, trying to act calm.

"Oh?" Rose and Riley's mom responded.

"Yes, exactly. Now, tell me. How much are you going to pay for the hospital bills? I expect 100%, yes? And your children. What should we do about them? I say... punish them. Cane them. Ground them. Whatever harsh action you please. And I-." Kelly was interrupted.

"Her name is Rose, not Lavender. I would never give my child that name. And no, we are not paying for the hospital bills. We are simply here to collect our children. We are not reprimanding them since we have been told that your child is a brat. I'm sure Rose and Riley will have their side of the story, and when I get it from them I will inform you. But for now, goodbye. And please send your apologies from you and your child. I'm sure you have been rude to both my children, and I do not appreciate that," Their mother coolly stated.

"Excuse me? Your child punched mine in the face. Not the other way around. And I-,"

"Oh, I'm sorry. I don't remember asking. Since you are being so defiant, Rose, Riley, why don't you two state your side of the story,"

Rose and Riley looked up with a shocked expression. They were being asked for their opinions. They found it shocking that their parents did not reprimand Rose, but instead asked for her side.

"Riley, you go first," Their mother instructed in a soft voice.

"Okay... you see, your highness, we were playing captains ball. We were tied with the opposing team. I asked Rose to throw the ball to me so I could throw it to the captain and we could win. However, as I assume she couldn't hear me, she threw the ball backwards instead of to me. The ball landed right in an opponents hand and they scored. The whole team got pretty upset. Then, your baby girl, Sabrina, went up to Rose and started scolding her. She kept pushing blame to her and Rose did not appreciate it very much. She tried to hold back tears. Sabrina commented, and I quote, "You're so dumb,". She also said captains ball isn't a game for idiots, which implied that Rose was an idiot. That, however, is not true. Rose is the smartest person I know. At that point, Rose started crying buckets. Sabrina also said that she's a crybaby and that she pities me since I have Rose as a twin. She said I'm a good player and Rose is stupid. Maybe Rose did overreact, but since we're twins, don't you think she'd feel inferior if someone said that? Especially after losing a game. So though Rose is also in the wrong, I'd like you to consider what your daughter has done to her emotionally," Riley said with great confidence.
