I know all this Rider stuff is really intriguing, but I'm bringing the attention back to the twins now. It was Riley's first day in Harvard, her dream school. She's been dreaming about getting into Harvard ever since she was... 2? Yeah. She learnt to read at the young age of 1. She started off by reading a few baby books for a few months and after a while, she got bored and explored other books. Her first non-baby book was B.F.G from Roald Dahl. She read it when she was 2 years old. She was so amazed with the book that she finished all Roald Dahl's books in 8 months! Her favourite book from Roald Dahl's collection was Matilda. It kind of described her, you know? Like she was Matilda. After that, she started Enid Blyton. She loved it, so she finished all his books in 4 months. She was 3, then. She started Anne Frank, finished it in 2 months and started the Little Prince. She took 2 months for that, and started the Harry Potter Series. She read it almost every second of the day. When Rose asked to play with her, Riley refused and carried on reading. She took 9 months for that. She spent some time doing assessment books after that. Then, again, she picked up reading more constantly. At the age of  7, she started reading adult novels. I know, this sounds utterly impossible. But nothing really is impossible.

Anyway, let me get back to her first day at Harvard. She was obviously an introvert so she didn't really need friends to survive in school. She already had the best one, her twin sister. What kind of best friend is better than a best friend that's related to you by blood? None! So, in Harvard, her mentality was, "If you talk to others and become popular, one day, most probably, your so called 'friends' will all turn against you for the simplest reasons. So, it's better to stay away. Better safe that sorry." Most people don't agree with this mentality, but this was simply her opinion. See, Harvard was where most people only study, eat, sleep and repeat. They always try to achieve excellence and try to beat each other. It was a very competitive school. Riley, however, had no problem whatsoever. (Maybe....) Which wasn't really a piece of shocking news. She read so many books when she was young that people 4x her age read.

As she stepped on the smooth marble tiles, she thought to herself, "This is it. This is my big moment. It's all starting! This is so exciting. I'm so nervous." As soon as she finished thinking that thought to herself, a blonde girl approached her. Her hair was silky smooth and had some wave curls. She wore the trendiest and prettiest clothes. Her eyes were brilliant blue, her nose was near perfect and she was wearing the most expensive high heel boots that Riley's ever seen in her life. "And, you are?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. "Oh! Hi, I'm Riley. I'm a new student. I'm sorry, I'm not too good at social intera-." "Oh. So we got a new nerdy student. I thought she was The Maid." Her friends laughed and one of them said, "Yeah, Alice. She sure looks like it. Listen, kid. In this school, you better watch your back. Alice is one of the most popular girls in school." Riley assumed that Alice and her friends were all mean. And that Alice was Super popular in school.

"I'm sorry, what's going on?" Someone appeared. Everybody turned around and saw a guy and a girl, standing. Riley also assumed that they were a couple. The girl was gorgeous too. She was kind of 100x prettier than Alice. She didn't look bratty either. She wore pearl earrings and a gold bracelet that looked like it was at least 10 karats. Her shoes were high heels, way prettier than Alice's. Alice's shoes were dark, and black. While the other girl's were dressed in white pearls and they were pure and white. Covered in jewels. But somehow the two girls looked similar. The boy was so muscular and cute! Riley thought so, at least. He wore expensive looking sport shoes and leather clothes. He basically looked like the president's son. Head to toe. Even his hair gel was probably the most expensive kind.

He also wore sunglasses, like the girl he was standing with, but not just any. "OMG. Are those the one and only limited edition sunglasses made by the most popular shop in the world? Isn't that.... Hero Sun??? Omg!!!! I went into that store and I saw Those. Aren't those limited edition and the only one in the world." Riley screamed. "You're half correct, they are limited edition and were the only ones in the world. But my uncle is the creator of these and he owns the shop. So basically, I asked him for 1000 and he made them all for me. I'm Mark, by the way. This is my girlfriend, Amber." Mark said. "You know what, should we give her some, Mark? She seems like an awfully sweet girl." Amber said. "Sure. Here, uh... what's your name?" Mark said while giving her a new pair of the same sunglasses. They were wrapped up in a pretty little box. The shock upon Riley's face came and never went away for a straight 1 minute. She thanked them repeatedly, too. "Now, Alice. If you'll excuse us, we have to run to class. Move aside with your friends, please." Amber said. Alice was so angry, anger was just written on her face. She moved aside reluctantly. "OMG. Thank you. I'll move aside too." Riley said while moving aside.

"What do you mean? You're coming with us, you're our new bff, Riley, isn't it?" Mark said. "That's right! Come along, Riley. Put the sunglasses on, too. It signifies that you're one of us. So, what do you say, be our BFF?" Amber asked, with a sweet smile on her face. Riley looked at them as if she was in a great dream, and I mean a really ,really, really, great dream. She thought to herself that they must be the most popular kids in school. If she hung out with them, her whole status would change. Even though she was already quite wealthy, she didn't like to show it. She didn't like to have artificial friends that wouldn't be there for her if she didn't have money. She always knew that if that was the case, they were never her friends, they were her money's friends. But these two were different. They seemed so kind and caring even though she didn't show she had quite a lot of money. That's the type of people she really respects and likes to be friends with.

"I... I would be honoured! Yes, please!" Riley said with a huge grin on her face, trying not to look or sound any weirder. Because if she did, she would be the weirdest person in the universe. Not the city, not the country, not the earth. The universe. They put on her sunglasses for her and walked with her to class. On the way to class, Mark said. "So basically, Riley, we might have quite a chunk of money, but we don't like to flaunt it. We also have ground rules if you want to be part of our group. 1. Never skip class unless you have a really valid reason. 2. Don't betray your other bffs, who we will be introducing you to, later. 3. We stick together, always. 4. Do NOT flaunt anything you have. That goes against everything in this group. 5. If you want to bring your friends to join us for an outing or to have lunch, not more than 4 people. We don't like too big of a group. 6. Just enjoy and let people give you expensive stuff if they want. Don't be reluctant. 7. Do not break any of our rules. Simple. Understand?" Mark said, firmly. Riley nodded her head and was delighted to think that she just joined the 'popular group'. Mark and Amber looked at wash other and said, "She's ready." Amber said, "From this day on, we now allow you into the 'Harvard Group. And, don't worry, the principal already knows about us and since we are kind of popular in this country, he allowed it. But don't go breaking any of our rules. Alright? Now, here's your badge." She placed a diamond badge on her that said 'The Harvard Group'.

All three of them smiled, but before they all went to class, Riley asked, "But, wait, there's one thing I don't understand. Isn't Alice in your group? Shouldn't you guys be defending her instead of defending me? And why would you guys let me into such a popular and prestigious group without even knowing me? I'm not popular like Alice, I'm not relatives with a rich person, and I'm an orphan. Why?" They looked at her and saw the curiosity in her eyes. "We don't recruit so called 'popular' students. We recruit smart and quick- witted students. From your sight, I could see how much creativity was filled in your brain. So, we decided that you're eligible to join us. And don't worry about being an orphan, actually, We were orphans, too. But we got through the sad phase and we're sure our parents would be so proud of who we are now, if they were still alive. That is. And, if we take you out on expensive outings or shopping, don't worry, it's always on the house. You see, we don't like to say this a lot, but we come from a very wealthy family and money and fame just sticks to us wherever we go. Even if we like it or not. My uncle is a wealthy person who has tons of businesses to call his own. Amber's aunt is someone who is in the music industry. My parents are basically the top 4th most wealthy people in the world and Amber's are the 3rd. So, chop chop. It's your first class today!" Mark said. She smiled and walked into class with a huge smile on her face.
