When all is said and done - Chapter 8

Lin's Pov 

After we hear the camera, I feel Pippa stiffen, her body ridden with fear. We had agreed that for a little while only the cast and our close families would know, I guess know we are going public. I quickly take Pippa home, we say hi to my mum and thank her for watching Sebby and as soon as she's gone Pippa falls into me, shaking as she begins to cry. 

As I stand holding her close, all the doubt I've had come straight to my mind, but then I remember why she's probably so scared about people finding out this way because when the public found out about her and Steven, the hate she got was horrible. 

After a few minutes, I whisper to her, "We can change the way this comes out, but we have to do it soon." 

"What do you mean?" She responds, looking up at me with her tear stained face. 

"Well, If we put something out tonight, and by tonight I mean like now, we can beat the press and control the way people find out" I say, looking back at her lovingly. 

"I guess that probably would be the best way for people to find out" 

We plan our instagram posts, I use a picture we took at an awards show a while ago, 

And in the post I write; 

Soo, we have a little announcement. I know that I must be the luckiest man alive as I get to call this beautiful women my girlfriend. I'm so grateful for all that she does for me and how she puts up with me day in and day out.

In her post Pippa uses a very chaotic photo 

and writes; 

So I guess you all know who this guy is, and I'm very very happy to be able to work with him in such a wonderful show, and the fact that he also happens to be my boyfriend is a mega bonus. 

Once we both have the posts ready and all the tags are done we post them at the same time, slightly panicking about what everyones response will be, I mean I'm sure that for the most part that they will be supportive, but there's always going to be haters. 

We decide that rather than looking through comments tonight, we will instead go to bed as we do have shows tomorrow and a rehearsal, and look through them tomorrow morning when we aren't quite as panicked. 

We both get ready for bed and by the time I'm finished brushing my teeth and getting changed, Pips is already in bed and fast asleep. I climb into bed and put my arms round her, happy that the world know and that we don't have anything to hide anymore. 

A/N 

Ok, I have a problem. So I have a test tomorrow and instead of revising I'm writing this and scrolling through Pippa's instagram - I went back to Hamilton's opening night ... So yeah we probably going to fail but it was worth it. Any way thank you for all your support on this book so far and I hope you enjoyed this chapter :)
