I've Been Waiting for you - Chapter 11

A/N WARNING: MAJOR LIPPA FLUFF

Pippa's Pov

I wake up in an unfamiliar bed, all I can hear are distant voices and a repetitive beeping sound. I open my eyes and am greeted with a bright white light, thats when I finally feel something familiar. I feel Lin's hand in mine, squeezing it slightly. I try to speak but my voice is dry and raspy, I feel a weight move off my arm, probably his head, and he says to me 

"Hey Pips, Your awake" He sounds tired 

I turn my head to him, oh god what I have I done. He looks like he has being crying for hours and  I know it takes a lot for Lin to cry. I use all my strength to get a few words out

"Lin, I'm so sorry. It's all my fault. You don't have to stay, I'm giving you an out" As I say the last few words out I barely manage a whisper and a few tears start to being to make their way down my face. 

"Phillipa Anne Soo I love you with all of my heart, you are the love of my life and I wouldn't leave you for the world. And yes you scared me when you weren't next to me when I woke up, but now all I care about is that you are here with me and safe." As he says that I notice fresh tears fall down his face and a smile replace the sadness. 

"Lin-Manuel Miranda, I love you with all my heart as well but if you want an out take it I wont hate you for it. I probably deserve it anyway, I mean with all the stuff I've put you through tonight alone." 

"Phillipa, you are the worlds most amazing girlfriend and every moment I am with you I feel like the luckiest man alive. If anything I'm the one who doesn't deserve you, I mean look at you, your 27 and are already a Tony Nominee" He says this while hold my hand with both of his hands and looking into my eyes. 

This is when I realise that I am so lucky to be alive right now. I have the worlds most amazing boyfriend. 

We sit for a while until a doctor comes in and notices that I'm awake 

"Ah Miss Soo, you're awake" 

"Hi, Call me Phillipa please" I say with my voice just as raspy as before

"Ok, Phillipa it seems that you have a minor concussion and a few bruised ribs. We would like to keep you in tonight for observation but you can be discharged in the morning" 

"Thank you" Lin responds looking grateful 

"That is no problem Sir, would you like to stay here tonight. We can have a cot bed brought in for you" 

Lin looks at me wondering what to respond to the doctor but I responded for him 

"Yes that would be perfect, one last question. Do you know how long it would be before I can get back on stage again?" I say feeling hopeful. I love my Hamfam and I hate when I'm not there I get very severe FOMO. 

"Um, It would probably be around 3-4 weeks but not any longer than that I shouldn't think" He responds with a smile. He then turns to leave but before he goes he adds "Also there are some people out in the waiting room asking about you, they claim to be your friends? You are allowed visitors for now" 

"Ah thank you" responds Lin, turns to me adding "that's probably the rest of the cast, they were all so worried about you. Would you like me to go and bring them up Pips?" 

"Yes, Oh god I feel bad for worrying everyone" 

"Pips, breathe they only care that you are safe now" 

Lin brings the cast up and we chat for a few hours until the nurse asks them to leave at the end of visiting times. 

Once it is just us again Lin climbs on to my bed and puts his arms round me. We lay like this for what could be forever, before the nurse comes back in with the cot for Lin to sleep in. 

"I'm afraid you're going to have to sleep on this sir, just hospital policy." The nurse says with a kind look on her face "but I guess you can stay there for the time being until Phillipa does need to go to sleep as it is important she gets her rest and can then get back on stage" 

"Ok, thank you" I reply sleepily 

Once she has left I whisper to Lin to stay with me here until I fall asleep, and he does just that. 

A/N 

Hope you enjoyed this very fluffy chapter, I hate to say I did nearly cry writing this. But it may have been partly due to the fact that I was listening to "love somebody new" from Over The Moon. Also highly recommend watching it because it has PIPPA.
