So today I got into a fight with my mom about LGBTQ rights and she threatened to slap me if I ever said "gay" in her house .
I just feel so useless
I really don't know what to do ,
My mom had this transgender friend and literally said
"I'm not transphobic/homophobic I literally have transgender/gay friends"
Which I find infuriating I honestly don't know what to do , I want to do something. I'm currently studying human rights and law so I feel as though I could have made a better argument but I was scared that she would actually hit me because she has done that before. I also didn't want to get my dad involved since I hate when he's angry at me , I love him dearly
I want to reach her in a way that she'll still love me but I know that can't happen because she's a stupid Christian.
Got any ideas?
