We all gathered in two lines, both facing an enchanted practise dummy with a wand.

"Go on." Harry urged.

Neville nervously stepped up and raised his wand to the dummy. "Expellairmus!"

We all ducked as his wand came flying backwards at us, hitting the mirror.

"I'm hopeless." Neville sulked.

"You're just flourishing your wand too much. Try it like this." Harry waved his wand in an 'S' motion.

"Expellairmus."

The wand flew out of the dummy's hand and far away, onto the floor.

"Stunning is one of the most useful spells in your arsenal. It's sort of a wizards bread and butter really." Harry explained.

He and Nigel stood at opposite ends of the room with their wands raised.

"So, come on then, Nigel. Give it your best shot."

"Stupefy!" He shouted.

They both went flying into the walls behind them.

Pretty impressive for a second year.

"Good. Not bad at all, Nigel Well done." Harry groaned positively, as he got up and rubbed his back.

Hermione and Ron were up next.

"Don't worry. I'll go easy on you." Ron assured her, although I think he's got it coming for him.

"Oh thanks Ronald." Hermione sarcastically responded.

"One sickle." I whispered to Fred and George.

"You're on." They grinned at me.

Ron raised his wand to Hermione and opened his mouth to say a spell. Hermione, didn't give him a chance

"Stupefy!"

Ron flew backwards through the air and onto his back. The twins moaned and reluctantly passed their sickles to me. I smiled innocently in response as I accepted them.

"Shut up

"Shut up." Ron muttered as he walked over to his sniggering brothers. "I let her do that. It's good manners, isn't it? It was completely intentional."

Our DA meetings had been going great so far. Harry has managed to teach us all sort of complicated and useful spells. I'd say we were all pretty damn good now.

We use enchanted galleons to notify members on when the next meeting would be. Hermione made them of course.

However, as the winter months drew near, Umbridge was becoming more and more suspicious. She knew something was going on. She even made a rule that all students must submit to a questioning about 'illicit activities'.
