florence pov

I woke up to find myself in the hospital wing. I was clueless at first, until I looked around and saw Ron and Harry lying in the beds around me. I wonder where Hermione is.

I attempted to turn and look at the wound on my back but winced in pain when I tried to move. I felt bandages wrapped tightly around my back and stomach.

I looked out the window to see that it was still a bit dark outside, I must've woken up pretty early.

I thought back to last nights events. The last thing I remembered seeing was Lupin in his werewolf form, raising his sharp claws. I shuddered.

"Florence?" I heard Harry ask croakily. He slowly sat up and put on his glasses.

"Hi." I responded weakly.

He quietly got off his bed and came over to mine. He pulled me gently into a hug. "You saved me, and you gave us a right scare too. I thought we lost you." He said, still hugging me.

"Well I couldn't bare to leave you to deal with Ron and Hermione on your own could I?" I joked.

We pulled away and laughed. I watched as his eyes landed on my bandages, his smile dropped and he looked at me.

"I'm so sorry Florence."

"For what?"

"Getting you involved in this. I never meant for you to get hurt, and when you did I-"

"This isn't your fault Harry. I was always going to be involved, Sirius is my problem too, he's family." I assured him and placed my hand on his.

He looked away for a moment before smiling. "I saw my dad."

"What?"

"He sent the dementors away. I saw him across the lake."

I knew that Harry's father couldn't possibly have saved him, but I didn't want to be the one to tell him.

I looked out at the window at sunrise. Before I could answer, Hermione burst through the doors. Harry and I quickly pulled our hands away and blushed.

"They've captured Sirius. Any minute the dementors are going to perform the kiss!" She yelled frantically.

Harry jumped up. "You mean they're going to kill him?!"

"No. It's worse, much worse. They're going to suck out his soul."

The large hospital wing doors swung open and Dumbledore entered the room.

"Headmaster, you've got to stop them!" Hermione begged. "They've got the wrong man!"

"It's true sir!" Harry said.

"Sirius is innocent! It was Peter Pettigrew!" I said from my bed.

"You have to believe us."

"I do Miss Granger, but I'm sorry to say that the words of three thirteen year old wizards will convince few others." Dumbledore said.

Harry tilted his head back and sighed.

Dumbledore made his way over to Ron. "A child's voice, how honest and true is meaning to those who have forgotten to listen." He put his hand on Ron's leg and Ron let out a muffled squeal.
