I've been at Hogwarts for around 3 weeks now?And I've been spending quite a bit of time with Draco since the night at the Astronomy tower. It was nice reconnecting with him after the two years we had spent apart.

After telling Harry about a bit of my life, I felt a lot better. But I've gone back to my original thinking.

I need to stay away from him, in a romantic sense, it's what's best for him and me.

I was going on a walk with Draco today and I was quite excited. My feelings for him have grown in the past few weeks, it's definitely a good distraction from a certain dark haired boy.

I told Hermione I was going on a walk with Dean and wanted to look nice. She believed me, thank merlin.

I would've told her the truth but then she'd start asking questions, and I'd made the agreement with Harry to tell them about my childhood with Draco at Christmas. Which was still a while away.

I had told Harry about my walk with Draco though. He seemed surprised to hear it, but seemed fine, I think. It took a bit of convincing after what Draco did at the Astronomy tower, but I think Harry's okay now.

Talking of Harry, he had gotten a detention from Snape yesterday in potions. I'm not surprised. But it's a whole week long one just for answering back in class.

Snape had tasked him with cleaning out every single toilet in the castle. Girl and boys. I felt for him. I really did. But it was also kind of funny.

I put on one of my favourite dresses. It was light pink with tiny white flowers on it. I slipped on my shoes and took a quick glance at the clock on the wall. It read 6:50pm. Plenty of time to get to the courtyard for 7.

I walked down the steps from my dorm and into the common room.

"You look gorgeous!" Hermione squealed excitedly as Ron nodded in agreement.

Harry turned around and froze as he saw me. Then he smiled weakly and looked at the floor. "Dean's a lucky guy."

"Thank you guys." I said, checking my appearance in the mirror.

"You better go before Dean thinks you've abandoned him." Hermione said, ushering me out the portrait hole.

"Right. See you!" I sung, as I waved to them and walked off.

I couldn't help but feel guilty for lying to Hermione and Ron, I thought, as I rushed down the steps and through the halls.

I left the castle and wandered towards the bench where Draco and I were meant to meet. I caught his eyes and began walking towards him.

"Ah here she is." Draco smiled and looked me up and down. "The only girl in Hogwarts that makes me nervous."

I felt my face go red as I took Draco's arm and we began walking around the school grounds.

We started to walk down the pathway, chatting about school, our childhood, quidditch, his parents and more. I couldn't talk about my parents here. Not out in the open like this. That was one thing I'm glad he understands. He knows about my real identity and who my parents are. It makes me feel free knowing I have nothing to hide.

"I wish my father had never sent you away to Beaxbatons." He said, suddenly pausing.

I looked up at him. "Me too. I missed you while I was away, you know. It felt like I was missing something."

"I missed you too. My late night snack buddy had vanished." He said through a laugh.

"You're not too bad for a Slytherin you know." I joked, poking a finger at his chest. "All the rest seem to be horrible to us Gryffindors."
