"Has someone ever told you how beautiful you look ,yaz" aunt madina asked,I smiled and looked at her through the mirror "aunt,pls don't start teasing me again," I said feeling shy,"but you know clearly that what I'm saying isn't a lie huh"she spoke and stood behind me,I looked at my self again in the mirror, ohh Masha Allah, what a beautiful woman i am. I'm really blessed with so much beauty ,my face ,my body and my skin too, it kept glowing like a bride,I'm truly blessed.
Until the day my honor was snatched away from me,the true beauty of my life ,it is gone forever and ever.
I smiled a bit and looked at my aunt again"wow,look at your eyes, so beautiful"she complemented "oohhh aunnnttt ,Enough of your teasing ,now can I dress up in peace?" I spoke with a sweet smile on my face "no until you look at your eyes in the mirror before I stop"
I rolled my eyes and turned to the mirror "but aunt, I've being seeing my eye for as long as I remember" I said and pushed my mouth a bit"yes look at them again"she said and I obeyed "they are hazel,I've never seen anyone with such beautiful eyes before"she said and smiled
" now I see the reason why all most all the guys here hover around my house ever since you came"she teased and I laughed.
She then turned to my long , dark and glowing hair,"and this too ,what a beautiful girl you are ,and now i think your beauty has taken another turn since you're a bit older now ,if I had a son I'll quickly get the two of you married before the blink of an eye"she joked ,"aunt you're to much ,it's OK thanks for the complements"I replied and wore my ear rings
Our gaze met and this time we both knew what she was going to Say,but I still ignored and looked away"so you are going to let this beauty get wasted?"she asked and my hrt ached "aunt,we've talked about this already didn't we?and we both agreed that we won't bring the topic up again right?" I said with sadness written all over my face. It was more in my voice in my voice too
"But yazz you know at some point we need to talk about this right?, stop running away from it" she said"no,I don't want to ever talk about this"I said and turned away from her"yazzz,my love,I know your past still hunts you, I know how you always have night mares and sleepless nights thinking about it, but.....you need to let go,you're hurting yourself, plss"she explained
"and Alamin keeps coming here to see you and tell you how he truly feels about you ,but you always turn a blind eye,I know it hard to move one ,but at least try give someone a chance to fill your life with all the happiness yaz,it's time to move on"she adviced and I turned to look at her
" aunt ,I was raped at such a young age and the fact remains, I don't have any reason to be happy again, my happiness has been snatch away,my happiness went away that night ,so plz I don't want to talk about love or marriage again,and as for Alamin ,I'll tell him to stop troubling me, and that I'm not ready for any relationship or marriage ,so its better he starts searching for his right woman coz I'm not the one for him,plz I don't want to marry anyone be it Alamin or any other person"I said bitterly and tears filled my eye,just thinking about it alone makes me so tensed

Tears rolled down and I quickly wiped them " OK aunt,pls let not talk about this again and this time you will have to promise me "I said while staring at her " she wiped her teary eyes and smiled "OK then I won't speak to you about this again, I promise" she said
"OK now hurry up and come to the kitchen, there is a lot of work to cover there"she added and work towards the door "OK I'll be out in a minute" I said and open my wardrobe
I smiled and choose an out fit
