We been back for about 2 weeks and it was filled with work and sleep. I had the bright idea to pick up shifts since people had been calling out but was happy I finally has some time off.

"Tell me why my bitch ass co-worker had the nerve and try to report me to my manager because she jealous that I get more clients" Reya ranted

"She just mad she don't have as much talent as you" Lonnie chimed in

"You ain't the only one we have a big event coming up and the coordinator that didn't get picked for this event tried to bash me on the company website saying I was unprofessional" Yani said

"Maaann these people be trying it we know our girls be doing the damn thing" Reya said while pouring shots

We were at Yani and Devin's house pre-gaming. Juan opened up a new shop in Buckhead and the grand opening is tonight.

"I just want to point out my girl Kori over here looking like a whole meal not a snack" Lonnie said while snapping her fingers

"Yaaaas my boo trying to get her man back" Reya said drinking her chaser

"No no I'm not trying to get him back I just wanted to look cute" I said knowing damn well I was trying to tease Dave. I want him to know that I am still a bad bitch with or without him.

"Yea, ok and I'm boo boo the fool" Yani said and we busted out laughing

The grand opening was looking real good thanks to Yani of course and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. As I was sitting talking to one of the tattoo artist I felt my phone vibrate and saw it was DJ Facetiming me.

"Excuse me" I said as I walked away to a area a little quieter

"Hey DJ you ok" I asked

"Yea I watch Moana" he shrieked while looking cute in his dinosaur pajamas I got him

"You and grandma having a good time without me"

"No it would be much better if you here"

"Awwww what about daddy"

"Ummm no daddy talk a lot"

"You right" I laughed

"What you over here laughing" I jumped as Dave appeared "Oh so this why you not answering my calls DJ"

"Kori more imptint" I chuckled

"Important is what you mean" I said

"Ya'll do me so dirty" Dave said

"I sorry daddy Kori more fun"

"Yea she is fun" Dave said under low eyes while looking at me

I could feel his eyes roaming my body

"Well DJ only one more sleep and I will be taking you to the children's museum"

"Yay!! when I wake up I see you night" he shrieked and ended the call and I could do is laugh and shake my head

"That's your child"

"Yea and I can't deny we have something in common"

"What's that" I asked confused

"We both love some you"

I got up from my chair and smoothed out my dress

"I know you wore that shit on purpose too knowing I can't say shit to you about how short and tight it was"

"I can wear what I want and I wanted to look cute"

"Who you trying to look cute for"

"Maybe my nigga"

Dave raised an eyebrow and I walked away without a word. As I was coming from the bathroom I saw a familiar face. I walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. When he turned around he looked like he saw a ghost.

"Hey you didn't think I'd see you here" I said with a smile

"Um hey yea I'm here"

"You know Juan or something" I ask

"Shane the tattoo artist my friend"

"Oh ok good you want to get a drink"

He looked around nervous "Naw I'm good I've had enough drinks tonight I was actually about to leave"

"Oh so soon" I asked

"Yea so soon" I heard Dave's raspy voice from behind me

"Ohhh Dave what's up my guy"

"You know Dave" I asked him and he looked like he was going to shit himself

"Yea we know one another. How do you two know one another" Dave asked while staring at Kareem.

"Well even though it's none of your business but Kareem and I had a little fling" I looked over at Kareem and he was looking down at the ground

"Oh yea ain't that nice" Dave said with raised eyebrows

"Dave man I-" when Dave's hand rested on Kareem's shoulder he stopped talking

"Have a good night" Dave said before walking away leaving Kareem frantic

"I-I got to go"

"I can come with you seem out of it"

"No" he raised his voice and I jumped a little and watched as he powered walked out from the party. I stood there confused for a second and went to find the girls.

This has been a weird ass night.
