May 12th - One year later

"Omg you look so pretty" Lonnie squealed

"You do" I smiled

"I-I can't believe the day has come"

"Well it's here bitch" Yani said as we all laughed

"Cuz you are going to get pregnant tonight" Lashana, Reya's cousin said

"Yes, because I need me some grand babies from my youngest" her mom stated and Reya rolled her eyes

"How you feeling" Korie asked

"Nervous, anxious and excited"

"Awww baby all that will go away when you walking down the aisle and see your husband standing at the end" her mother smiled so wide

"She is right nothing but our happiness comes when your eyes lock" Yani added

We finished getting ready and took pictures. I was sitting in the corner chilling as we waited until it was time to go out. Yani came and sat next to me.

"I wanted to check on you"

"Why" I asked confused

"You know who will be here"

'I'm fine we aren't partnered together so I'll be fine"

"Yea, but this will be you first time seeing him in over a year"

I shrugged "I knew the day was coming I mean he is the best man"

Dave hadn't been at any of the rehearsals due to delayed flights.

"You know I got your back I'll kick his ass cousin or not" Yani said

I laughed at her "Thanks boo I know you do"

"Good, cause I cussed him out a couple weeks ago because I asked him the same question and he tried to act like he ain't miss you"

"Fuck him" I said with no hesitation

Yani sighed "I'm going to go check on Meer make sure the guys ain't teaching my baby no foul shit"

"Please welcome Mr and Mrs Ferguson"

Everyone clapped and Reya and Juan came in dancing and I couldn't help but smile because I know Reya had been through a lot. She looked genuinely happy and so did Juan. My eyes drifted and the fell on Dave, he was still fine as shit and looked like he had been lifting and he looked so sexy in his tux. I felt a nudge that took me out my daze.

"I see yo ass drooling" Lonnie said

"I still can't stand his guts but he looks nice" I shrugged

Next thing I know I feel a tap on my leg and I turn around

"OMG DJ" I screamed

"My Kori I missed you"

"Awwww I missed you too" I hugged him so tight

"You owe me a lot of dates" he said as Lonnie and I busted out laughing

"I know I know and I promise to make it up to you"

He beamed with joy and ran back over to where Dave's mom was

"That boy is a mess" I laughed

"He is tell me why Yani said DJ called her fussing because Dave was being mean. Mrs. Angie said he didn't talk to Dave for a whole week because he wouldn't say where you were"

"Awww I feel so bad I mean I did kind of just disappear out of nowhere"

After the wedding reception was over and hung with the girls for a little I got back to my hotel room at 2 am. After I got out the shower and dressed in a tank top and some shorts I heard what sounded like someone messing with my door knob. I walked over and opened the door to see a drunk Dave and from his eyes he was high as well.

"Wrong room" I said

He looked and noticed it was me and slowly noticed his eyes traveling down. I covered myself and rolled my eyes.

"Kori"

"Fuck you Dave"

I slammed the door in his face

The Next Morning

We all checked out and met at one of favorite restaurants for brunch before we headed home.

"Juan texted and told me they made it to Costa Rica" J said

"Yay I know they are going to have a good time" Yani said

"Hell yea they will come back with a baby" Devin said while shaking his head

"Hell yea it is so beautiful there they will do it all over the place" Yani said as she eyed Devin

Dave face screwed up "Nobody want to hear that shit"

"You a hata, shit I'm surprised you up the way you was slammed last night" Devin said with a smirk

"I know you not talking I bet Yani didn't know you smoked last night" Dave said while sticking his tongue out

"Fuck" Devin whispered not even turning to look at her

"You a soft ass nigga since you been to Cali how you out our boy like that" J said laughing

"Cause he tried to put me on blast" Dave phone rung and got up from the table

I felt eyes on me as I was scrolling through my IG timeline and that's what I had been doing since we got to the restaurant.

"So you going to be on your phone the whole time" Lonnie asked

"No, not when my food comes"

"Come on Kor Kor" J said

"I have nothing nice to say so I think it's best for everyones sake"

Dave came back to the table as it was silent. I looked over at him real quick and noticed he had on the gold YSL watch I had got him for his birthday last year and the way it looked so good with his tatted arm. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard someone speak.

"Take a picture it last longer" Dave said

"I'm good I deleted them all"

He smirked...I hated when he did that

"Look I want everyone to have a good time, so please don't say shit to me"

He smirked again and licked his lips "You still mad for what it's been a year now"

"Bro don't do it" J said

I tried to keep my cool but I lost it "You right it has been a year. A year of fuckin trying to forget about and how hurt I was." I got up and threw an envelope on the table and he slowly grabbed it and opened it and once he saw it his eyes shot up to me. He sat it on the table and the girls saw what is was and gasped.

"Oh my gosh" Lonnie whispered with her hand covering her mouth

"So like I said fuck you"
