Johnny walked up to Dally after Lila left. "You know she's a soc, right?"

"Unfortunately, yes." He said

"Look, man, we gotta go. We ain't getting the best looks here."

"Ok. Let's go." Dallas sighed

The three boys left the party and went on their way home. "Katrina," Lila said while walking to her mom, "you wouldn't happen to know who that boy exactly was, do you? I know he's Dallas Winston, but it's pretty dark out here and I'm only 99% sure."

"Yes, you were right. That was Dallas Winston. The greaser. A criminal. You shouldn't ever speak to him again, he could be dangerous."

"I don't think he is."

"Well, I'm sure of it." Said Katrina

Now old desire does in his deathbed lie
And young love gapes to be his heir
That fair for which love groaned for and would die
With tender Lila matched, is now not fair,
Now Dallas is beloved and loves again
Alike bewitched by the charm of looks
But to his foe supposed he must complain
And she steal loves sweet bait from fearful hooks
Being held a foe, he may not have access
To breathe such vows as lovers used to swear
And she as much in love, her means much less
To meet her new-beloved anywhere
But passion lends them power, time means, to meet
Tempering extremities with extreme sweet

"I'm gonna be honest with y'all, I don't really wanna leave. I met someone." Said Dally

"Come on, Dal. Those socs were really starting to scare me." Said Johnny

Dally remembered Lila's address. "Y'all go. I'm going somewhere else." He walked away hurriedly to the south side of town

Dally walked for a couple miles and finally found 1535 Montolet road. She hadn't lied to him. And the rumors were true. The house was ginormous! He saw that there was a light on in one of the rooms on the side. There was also a balcony. Dally went over to that side of the house and saw Lila standing there.

It was very dark, and there were a lot of trees in the yard. Dally heard Lila saying something to herself. "Dallas Winston, why the heck did you have to be a greaser of all things. I'm supposed to hate you. I don't want to hate you! The gang you're in shouldn't matter as long as you're a decent person. Are you though?"

"Not really, but I can be!" Dally shouted

Lila gasped. "Who's there!"

"Me. Dally Winston." He said

"Hey! Get up here. You can climb the vines easily. I've done it several times to sneak in."

He did as she said. "How are you?" He asked

"I'm good. What are you doing here?" She asked

"I was bored. And I wanted to tell you something."

"What, swearing your love by the moon?" She asked, sarcastically

"Why, do you want me to?"

"Not by the moon, at least. It always changes."

"I guess you're right."

"What did you want to tell me?"

"Nothing, actually. I just wanted to do this." He kissed her

"Lila!" Her mom shouted for her

Lila looked back at the door. "You need to go." She told Dally

"You sure I can't stay?"

"My mom would kill me if she saw me with a guy. Good night." She kissed him again

"Good night." He went back down the vines and left
