5 years ago......

"YOU DID WHAT?" Meredith screeched across the kitchen table.

"I cheated on Link. With Owen." Amelia sighed her hands falling into her head.

"How many times?" Maggie asked horrified.

"5. And that's not even the worse of it." Amelia laid her head onto the table.

"How can this get worse? He doesn't know, it happened more than once and he's not even home." Meredith said pouring coffee into a mug.

"I'm pregnant." Amelia cried.

"WHAT THE HELL." Meredith exclaimed her mug falling to the floor and breaking.

"Yeah, I know. I have fucked up my marriage and now I think I fucked up my life and Owen's and it's all gonna burn to the ground." Amelia yelled.

"How far along are you?" Maggie asked carefully trying to not upset Amelia.

"5 weeks." Amelia bit her lip.

"Are you gonna keep it?" Meredith asked sweeping up the mug off the floor.

"I don't know. I cant tell Link. I can't have Owen's baby." Amelia sighed.

Hours later Amelia sat messaging Arizona about her problem.

Arizona: Do you want to talk about this?

Amelia: I don't know what to do.

Arizona: You have to tell him.

Amelia: I can't, he will hate me. We have kids.

Arizona: Yeah, I know. But I didn't tell Callie and then she found out and it made it so much worse.

Amelia: He comes tonight. And I can't face him.

Arizona: I have a surgery, I'll call you later and we'll talk.

Amelia: Thank you.

"Baby I home." Link smiled throwing his luggage to the ground.

"Amelia?" Link asked walking up the stairs.

"Link?" Amelia asked.

"Hey baby Im home." Link wrapped his arms around Amelia. He carefully kissed her head smelling the vanilla scent of her shampoo.

"I missed you." Amelia smiled.

"I missed you too. It feels so good to be home." Link said.

"DADDY DADDY DADDY." Scout and Sage's voices rang out.

"Hey my babies." Link held his arms out as Scout and Sage fell into them.

Amelia went to go shower as Link tucked the kids into bed. Link logged onto the computer to check his emails.

His heart stopped as he read the interaction between Amelia and Arizona. His eyes scanned the text over and over again trying to comprehend if it was true or not. He didn't want to admit what he was reading.

"Hey baby, you wanna watch a movie?" Amelia asked stepping out the bathroom, her towel wrapped around her body.

"You cheated on me?" Link asked tears springing his eyes as he looked at Amelia.

"What?" Amelia laughed.

"I found your messages. You cheated on me?" Link asked once again with more force in his voice.

"I'm so sorry." Amelia's voice cracked as tears of guilt filled her eyes.

"How could you do this?" Link asked.

"I-I." Amelia stuttered.

"I know I haven't been that present and I'm sorry but you cheated on me. With your ex husband. I cant look at you." Link said standing up throwing things in a bag.

"Where are you going?" Amelia asked frantically.

"I'm leaving. I cant stay here." Link answered angrily.

"Please don't leave me. Please Link, please." Amelia sobbed.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO ME. I MADE SURE I WAITED AND WAITED UNTIL I COULD COME HOME TO YOU AND OUR KIDS FOR GODS SAKE. WE HAVE KIDS." Link yelled.

"I'm so sorry." Amelia cried.

"I'm done. I can't believe you did this." Link slammed the bedroom door. Amelia collapsed on the bed in tears as she heard the front door slam closed.

That night Amelia laid in the bed, her stomach cramping. Amelia was numb. She ruined her marriage. She might have ruined her life.

Amelia sat up in pain as her stomach cramped. More specifically her uterus.

"No." Amelia cried. Amelia didn't plan this baby at all but she wasn't ready to lose it.

Amelia went to the bathroom and her pants were coated in blood. Sage's tiny voice came from outside the bathroom door.

"Mommy?" Sage said sweetly.

"Yeah baby?" Amelia cried.

"Are you okay?" Sage asked.

"I'm fine baby girl. Lay in mommy's bed I'll be there in a second." Amelia bit her lip.

"I love you mommy." Sage said.

"I love you too." Amelia stared at the blood in her pants. Her heart breaking.
