On Wednesday during NXT, I confront the NXT Women's Champion Io Shirai to get our feud started. This will lead to a championship match between the two of us at Takeover in a few weeks. I will be playing the heel in this feud since Io is a face.

Adam comes out and costs Kyle and Finn Balor their tag match that they're in. Even though it's a work, I don't like the sight of Kyle being stretchered out of the arena. He is completely fine.

I go straight home after NXT is finished for the night. I get into a pair of black sweatpants and a cropped cami tank top after my shower. I grab a tub of cookie dough ice cream from my freezer and a spoon before putting on Ginny and Georgia on Netflix and begin to watch it.

When I'm on the second episode, I get a FaceTime call from Dakota. I know she went out with Raquel, Indi, Candice, Shotzi, Ember, and Tegan Nox tonight so I hesitate to answer. She smiles when I answer the call.

"Hey, Rylee!" she shouts. "The girlies and I miss you."

I smile and say, "I just wasn't feeling up to it. Sorry ladies."

Dakota says, "It's all good, but you'll never guess who's out on the dance floor right now." Before I can even take a guess, Kota flips the camera.

Kyle O'Reilly dances with a pretty brunette woman on the dance floor. I can see how close they are, but his eyes aren't on her. They're looking around. Probably for me.

My mood drops and I say, "I don't care what Kyle is doing. We're not together and we'll never be together."

"Aw," Dakota says, pouting. "But you're cute together. You always were."

With a sigh, I say, "He cheated on me, Dakota. We're never getting back together. Any chances of that happening became zero when he put his dick in someone else."

She looks away from the phone for a second before she says, "He's coming over here. Hold on." Dakota puts the phone face down so I'm looking at the table.

I can faintly hear their conversation when Kyle asks, "Is Rylee here? I haven't seen her."

Kota says, "Um, no. She didn't feel up to coming out tonight. Why are you looking for Rylee?"

Kyle is quiet for a second before he says, "I just wanted to say hi to her since I didn't get the chance to at Full Sail."

"Are you two suddenly friends again all of a sudden?" Dakota asks.

I gnaw on my lip as Kyle replies, "I think so. I hope so. I screwed up massively but I hope I'm starting to make it up to her. I have a lot to make up for but I hope I'm doing something right for the first time in four years."

Dakota says, "You'll never know unless you talk to her about it."

"Every time we talk about it ends in a fight," Kyle sighs. "I'm tired of fighting with her."

At this point, I have paused Ginny and Georgia as I eavesdrop on their conversation. I continue eating my ice cream.

Both of them are quiet before Dakota gasps and says, "Oh my God. I should've seen this before. You're still in love with her!"

Kyle jumps into defense mode when he says, "Shush! I am not in love with her."

Kota says, "The way you looked disappointed when I said that Ry wasn't here, the fact that you're looking for her, and the fact that you're doing everything you can to make up you cheating on her tells me that you're still in love with her."

"Fine," Kyle says to my best friend. "Yes, I am still in love with Rylee and I won't stop making everything up to her until she trusts me again."

After a moment of silence, Dakota says, "Rylee can be a forgiving person if you treat her the right way. You know how to treat her so you can gain her trust back, it'll just take some time. You've known her for seven years."
