The reception starts at four on the dot. Kyla was always known for being punctual and on time so it's not surprising that everything is on time. While at the reception, I get a call from Dakota. I work my way out into the hallway to answer the call.

"Hey," I say. "How's New Zealand?"

Dakota says, "I just got back yesterday. It was refreshing to go and see my family and friends back home. How's the wedding?"

With a sigh, I say, "It's been amazing. Hawaii is beautiful. Of course, it's not stopping the fact that Kyle and I have been arguing pretty much all day."

She asks, "Arguing about what?"

I say, "He doesn't think my toe is broken. I think he's catching on to the fact that something else is wrong."

"You still haven't told him?" Dakota asks. "Rylee, he's just going to get madder the longer you wait to tell him. You know this. Especially if you think he's catching on to the fact that something else is wrong."

I rub my face and I say, "I know! I just, I'm going to tell him tonight because I told him that I need to tell him something. I tried to tell him the other day but he said 'no serious conversations while on vacation' or something along those lines. I just need to get through the wedding."

Dakota is quiet for a second before she says, "Does anyone else know?"

With another sigh, I say, "Adam does. I asked him to come to my first baby appointment because you were away and he was the only other person that knows about me and Kyle."

She says, "Kyle won't be very happy that you told Adam before you told him."

"I wasn't going to tell Kyle over the phone that I'm having his kid," I loud whisper into the phone in case anyone's around.

Kota says, "That's valid. I'll let you go enjoy the wedding and the rest of your vacation. Fly home safely please."

I nod and say, "I will. We can do lunch when I sleep off the jetlag once I'm back in Florida."

Dakota laughs and says, "Alright. See you then."

After saying our goodbyes, I hang up the phone and sigh. She's right. I need to tell Kyle today because he figures it out on his own and gets mad at me.

Someone walks up behind me and I hear Kyle go, "Hey. Everything okay?"

I spin around and face him. I say, "Yeah. Dakota just called to tell me she was back home in Florida after visiting New Zealand. She was asking how Hawaii was."

Kyle smiles and says, "They're doing a slow dance right now. I wanted to see if you and your toe were up for at least one dance with me tonight."

"Of course," I say, smiling. He offers me his hand and I take it. The two of us walk back into the ballroom to dance.

He holds me close to him in his arms and I rest my head on his chest.

My mind begins to wander and I suddenly ask, "What do you think about kids?"

I look up at him and Kyle says, "I like kids, but I don't think I'll have any while I'm still in the peak of my career."

"So you wouldn't have any now?" I ask.

Kyle replies, "Why are you asking me about kids all of a sudden?"

We continue dancing to the music as I say, "Because this wedding has made me think about our future together and I was wondering where starting a family was on level of importance for you."

He blinks at me and says, "Starting a family with you is all I want, Rylee. I just want us to achieve everything that we can in our prime years first. You're almost 28, I just turned 34. We have some time. You're up for an NXT Women's Championship match when you come back from this toe injury. I'm in one of the biggest feuds I've ever been in since I signed to NXT in 2017. We're in our prime years. I love you and I just want what's best for you and for us between our careers and our personal lives."
