George third person POV again
Constructive criticism is encouraged!
The rest of George's day was spent going to classes and talking to his newfound friends. Nothing excited really happened, except for the Schlatt thing, but George quickly forgot about it because of his friends distracting him.
It was currently lunchtime and George forgot to pack a lunch today which meant he had to get lunch from the cafeteria.
Lovely
It was his first time eating 'hot lunch' as some people like to call it since he moved here from Britain. He was always told never to get cafeteria food because it would be so disgusting it would make you sick, but some other people told him it was sometimes really good.
George walked into the quad where the cafeteria was and looked at the area confused. There were three different lines. One going into the cafeteria, another line serving just tacos, and another that looked like it was selling snacks. George couldn't decide which one he wanted to go to and he didn't want to ask anyone so he decided to skip lunch and eat at home.
He looked around the quad looking for his friends. Tommy told him that they usually sit on the far end of the fourth table almost every day except when it's cold, then they would sit in Mr. Tdm's classroom. George glanced over at the tables counting them till he got to the fourth table and looked on both ends but they weren't there. So, he started counting from the other side of the quad and looked on both ends then he saw them. The whole entire group was staring at him with large grins on their faces and waving their hands aggressively at him. George smiled at them and started walking over to the table greeting the group when he arrived.
"Hey Georgie!" Dream greeted, "D'you have any trouble finding us?" He smirked at George knowing he did have a little trouble finding the table but George wasn't going to go through the embarrassment of admitting it.
"No..." George said not looking into Dream's eyes.
"Mhm. So you weren't standing there counting the tables from each side of the quad?"
"No..." George paused, "Well, to be fair I haven't exactly stayed here the full day yet."
Tommy snapped his head over to look at George, "So you're telling me you haven't been to school one full day?!?! Tell me your ways!"
George laughed awkwardly, "I wasn't telling you but yeah I haven't finished a full day because of umm... personal problems? I guess that's the right word." George didn't exactly want to tell the whole group he had haphephobia in case they would make fun of him for it. He would slowly introduce the idea to them and go from there.
Tommy smiled at him comfortably, "I understand big man, some people take time to adjust to new environments." George thanked him and smiled.
"So George," Tubbo started, "Why don't you have any lunch?"
George didn't want to admit he didn't know which line to go into so he picked one of the excuses in his head and went with it, "I've heard American hot lunches are really bad and I forgot to pack a lunch for me."
"But I thought you went to an American school when you were a child."
"Not exactly, I grew up in Britain so I went to school there until I was 13, then I moved to America and started Freshman year until third quarter and then I got homeschooled until this year."
"Wow," Tommy butted in, "You should've stayed in England, no offense, but America is shit."
"Agreed." Everyone said in unison.
