A/N: I'm writing this while reading some heavy angst so yk enjoy. It's not that bad tho :)
Tw: Panic attack? It's from another person's perspective though so it's not descriptive of what that person's feeling
Mondays. Some people may think it's the worst day of the week. Well, they're wrong but we've already gone over that. It's Tuesday. Fortunately, today is not Tuesday, it's Monday. George woke up to his lovely alarm clock and shut it off with a loud smash. Kind of like Hulk. He laid in bed for a few minutes scrolling through his socials until he was running late, then decided to get up for the day. For some people, running under the clock is a big no-no. The pressure gets to them after a while and they just don't care anymore. Not for George. He loved running late for school. It gave him a challenge and made him faster at getting ready. He liked to time himself getting ready, making it into a game. He had a record and beating it was his main goal for the morning. Sometimes he would get close which would make him happy, and other times he wouldn't even get close, which made his mood dimmer the rest of the day.
George walked to his closet and picked out a simple outfit that consisted of a blue sweater, cuffed baggy jeans, and some blue vans. He finished getting ready and raced to his phone to see his time.
2 minutes, 46 seconds
Dang, about a minute longer than my record, oh well.
George grabbed his backpack and raced out the door to school. It didn't take that long, maybe 5 minutes at the most. Today he was supposed to meet his friends at a planter near the school's office. He walked over to the planter to see Dream, Niki, Minx, Karl, and Quackity standing there conversating about who knows what.
"Hey guys!" George greeted walking up to them.
"Hello George." Niki waved.
The rest of the group waved and they went back to talking about different things.
A few minutes pass by and the whole group except Sapnap is there. The bell was going to ring in about 10 minutes and they all assumed Sapnap wouldn't arrive until later. Sapnap always was late, forgetting to set his alarm, sleeping through his alarm, and most of the time just not wanting to come to school. It was a normal occurrence.
But, things were different today. Sapnap woke up early for once and was able to get to school somewhat on time.
He was walking to his friends when he saw George standing there. He, George, and Dream were pretty close, all liking similar things, but didn't see George often, him taking the easier classes than George. He smiled and walked up to George, putting his arm around his shoulder. George tensed up but Sapnap didn't think anything of it. George tried to get his arm off his shoulder but Sapnap's arm wouldn't budge.
"Aw come on Georgie, you don't wanna hug your best pal?" Sapnap teased, not picking up George's irregular breathing patterns.
Dream now noticing the trouble George is in, interrupts, "Sapnap, let George go."
- TW starts now-
Sapnap turns to George to say something, but he sees his panicked face and takes his arm off his shoulder. George turns and sprints towards the bathroom stumbling a bit. Dream runs after him and bursts into the bathroom. His eyes widen as he sees George's shaking body in a ball in the corner, labored breathes coming out of his mouth.
"Holy shit, George." Dream slides to his knees in front of George and tries his best to calm him down.
"Um okay, just try and copy my breathing okay? In... out... in... out... You're doing great Georgie. In... Out..." Dream continues this process, complimenting George until his breathing becomes somewhat normal.
