Placing Blame

"Kai that was stupid of you! Next time you need to run when we say so," Lloyd orders his boyfriend who was not paying much attention to him.

After returning from the Sea of Sand then meeting up with Jay again Lloyd started scolding Kai for not running and almost being captured again.

"Kai are you even listening to me?" Lloyd asks. Kai was looking at the symbol in the helmet and not paying any attention to anyone. "Kai!" Lloyd shouts at him taking the helmet. "Hey give that back!" Kai demands trying to snatch it back from Lloyd.

"No you are listening to us and do what we say which is you cannot put yourself in danger like that again!" Lloyd yells at Kai holding the helmet out of his reach. "Give it back!" Kai demands Lloyd. "No you are going to listen to me right now," Lloyd orders Kai who pouts angrily sitting down in his chair. "You cannot be out of our sight with Morro out there and yesterday just proved to me that you are staying here at the temple until we deal with this and make sure that stupid ghost is gone for good," Lloyd said.

"What!" Kai yells standing up in shock and anger. "Like in hell I'm staying here. I am a ninja and can handle myself," Kai argues with his boyfriend. "I am the leader so if I want you here you stay here and not go off to do something stupid .you. stay.here," Lloyd points to the ground with emphasis. "I am not going to sit by while you all go fighting. I can fight just as good as you and you know it!" Kai yells at Lloyd. "Well you haven't been showing it. You literally just got captured and almost handed over to Morro, again," Lloyd said with a glare and Kai flinches at the glare a little, but does not back down.

"I escaped myself and like you could handle a small army trying to kidnap you on your own. The point is I escaped with no help whatsoever and the reason I didn't run was because unlike some people I remembered about Jay's parents who live in a scrap yard full of metal like seriously how come no one thought it was worth checking?" Kai asks and Jay raised his hand a little to say something. "You don't count Jay your their son," Kai said surprisingly calm and Jay put his hand down content to look at the floor awkwardly while standing by the others who were watching this entire exchange nervously.

"For the love of FSM! Can you just do what I tell you for once without arguing against me!" Lloyd yells at Kai who yells right back. "Can you just trust me to take care of myself!" "Well you haven't done that since Morro showed up! So clearly we need to make sure we don't have to worry about you being kidnapped for the hundredth time!" Lloyd responds in the same yelling tone as before. Kai's nostrils flared and he yelled the loudest he could with flames flickering on his hands.

"THE ONLY TIMES I GET KIDNAPPED IS WHEN YOU GET KIDNAPPED FIRST!" Kai yells at Lloyd and everything becomes so quiet and tense you could cut it with a knife. Lloyd blinks back tears and responded. "That's not true I," he was cut off by Kai who was still yelling in anger. "It is! Every single time I was caught it was because Morro caught you first! He caught you in the museum, he caught you at the blinds man eye, he caught you in Stix, and he caught and possessed you! Every time he used you to get me!" Kai yelled at Lloyd who flinches. "That's not true," he weakly protests. "It is! I don't care what you want me to do, but if you really want me to be safe than maybe you should keep your dam self safe first!" Kai yells and took the helmet back and stomps to his room wiping the tears from his eyes.

Lloyd's blinking back his own tears and looks at the others who were just silent or looked away. Lloyd ran to his own room in tears. "It's not true," He cries in denial. Awhile later Garmadon appears to his son's aid who was on his bed clutching his pillow, and had eyes that were red and puffy.

"Go away," Lloyd mutters to his father. "Kai's been crying too son," Garmadon said inviting himself in. "He regrets what he said," The father continues. "Than why doesn't he apologize!" Lloyd snaps upset and clutching his pillow harder. Garmadon sighs and said. "It's not that simple. You want to keep him here to protect him, but if he admits to saying sorry he's basically agreeing to what you want. Lloyd please remember that no matter how it happened any pain that has been inflicted onto Kai by Morro it is that ghosts doing and his doing alone no one else's especially not yours," Garmadon said to his son.
