Kai was explaining Morro's plan to all the ninja.

"And he needs a spinjitzu master to enter the tome. Which is why he kidnapped me in the first place. He planned to posses me use me to enter the tome and retrieve the crystal," Kai finishes. It was silent as they took that all in. "Question if Morro wanted to turn you into a ghost then why didn't he just get Soul Archer to do it?" Ronin asks. "I don't know," Kai shrugs his shoulders. "I'm glad your back," Nya said attempting to hug Kai only for him to step out of reach. "I'm tired," Kai said than left to his room.

It was quiet before Sensei Wu spoke. "Did Morro?" "Yes he did," Lloyd answers feeling tears in his eyes at the fact he couldn't protect his boyfriend. Sensei Wu nodded. "Let him rest while we try and decipher the second clue," Sensei Wu said. He and Misako left while leaving the others there silent. It was broken by Nya. "I can't believe Morro did this is doing this," Nya said blinking tears as Jay hugs her. "If you don't mind us asking what did happen to Morro? How do you know him?" Zane asks. Nya took a deep breath. "Morro was homeless most of his life. His mother died and his father blamed him for it so he ran away. When I was five I heard something out behind the shop and I was scared it was a animal so I got Kai to go check it out. He thought it was a ghost to try and make me giggle and it did. We found Morro in there while h was still alive. He was sweet when we first met. He would help find us food when we didn't have enough or just be the friend that we didn't have time for. Then one day he came back and said that some old guy was gonna teach him to be a ninja. He never said it was Wu, but nerveless we were happy for him because he was genuinely happy. A few weeks later his powers kicked in and we called him Windy. Sometimes we called him Garbage Ghost after how we found him he hated that nickname. Kai did actually love Morro at one point," Nya admits. "How?! How could he love that guy?" Lloyd asked. Nya looked at him. "Let me finish," She said harshly and they all flinched. "Morro used to be kinder, but he's always had anger in him. One time he lashed out when he didn't understand my homework I asked him to help me with and he threw it in the fire. When he started training to be a ninja the anger came to the surface as he took it out. Around the time the two started dating Morro took a turn for the worse. It was small at first, but it then became very scary. He would constantly be little Kai with small comments and gestures. When Morro learned he would be the green ninja it got much worse. He'd sometimes even used his wind too keep me away or even threaten Kai with it. Kai wanted to break up, but was scared too. He was at least respectful when Kai didn't want to go further he was impatient, but respectful when Kai said no to something. But while I was at a sleepover Kai had gotten fed up of Morro constantly talking about himself and how he was gonna show them all that Kai said. "Well maybe your not the green ninja. Maybe I am," That kinda didn't go over well. When I got home the next day Morro had already left leaving me to deal with Kai who didn't sleep in his own room for nearly a month. When Morro learned he wasn't the green ninja he blamed Kai and Kai had just had enough. He kicked Morro out and we hadn't seen him or heard from him until now," Nya finishes. She sighed and leaned against Jay for comfort. "Is that why Kai wanted to be the green ninja so bad? Because Morro made him feel like nothing?" Cole asks. "No because he didn't want any of you becoming like Morro once you did become the green ninja," Nya corrects. It was silent all around before Lloyd wiped away his tears. "I'm gonna check on him," Lloyd said leaving to check on Kai.

His boyfriend was in their room and was on his bed crying in his sleep clearly having a nightmare. Lloyd walked over and ran a hand through Kai's hair and he woke up. He looked at Lloyd with tear stained cheeks and looked down. "Do you want me too leave?" Lloyd asks. Kai grabbed his arm. "Please stay," Kai whispers and Lloyd laid down with him letting Kai cry himself too sleep in his embrace.
