Dead Or Alive?

Kai woke up from a brief black out. He was in a dark creepy cavern. He looks around seeing cages for the ones who had been banished here. Kai looked around and saw his target. He was chained by the arms and looked very pained to be there like he was weakened beyond the point of return.

"Sensei," Kai breathes and ran into the heart of the cursed realm. When Sensei Garmadon looked up seeing Kai and his eyes widened in horror. "Kai what in father's name are you doing here? It's not your time," Sensei said as Kai starts melting the chains, but it was slow because he was weak as well from Morro's treatment. "Lloyd needs you I couldn't just leave you here when I had the chance to save you," Kai responds. Sensei Garmadon shook his head at the self sacrificing boy. "Lloyd needs you more than me," Sensei said. Kai disagrees, but focussed on melting the chains. "Kai your old boyfriend Morro is here. He comes here often you need to leave before he shows up," Sensei Garmadon tries to plead with the boy. Kai trembles. "He isn't here. He escaped the cursed realm when you were banished. He's already done his work," Kai said and Sensei's eyes became filled with sympathy.

Kai managed to melt the first chain then moved to the next. Surprisingly none of the ghosts had noticed him doing this. Kai gasps and doubles over clutching his chest as a sudden wave of pain hit him. He gasps after a moment when it passes. "What was that?" Kai asks looking at Garmadon. "The preeminent knows your alive and human she's trying to curse you. Kai you need to leave before she turns you into a ghost forget me," Sensei Garmadon said. Kai shook his head and continues doing his work.

After ten painful minutes Kai finally freed the Sensei. He grabs the crystal and summons a portal. The two heard a loud roar and saw tentacles coming at them. Quickly they jumped in the portal. They started free falling both screaming for their lives when they caught onto something. They looked around and saw they were in the underworld. They had landed on the fairest wheel from when Jay, Cole, Zane, and Kai had first used the tornado of creation.

Kai looks at himself and saw a faints green tinge that was already leaving. Kai looked at Sensei Garmadon and saw he was faintly glowing green and more transparent, but not quite a ghost.

Kai looks at the realm crystal and then a Garmadon. "Umm it might be a few realms before we get back," Kai said. "Well hurry up," Garmadon said impatient.
Kai took a deep breath and opened another portal.

Ninjago realm Stix

Morro was enraged. The others figured out what had happened and man was it met with tears.

Morro had no way to know if Kai even landed in the cursed realm and without the realm crystal he couldn't unleash the preeminent. So what does he do? He created a tornado and storm. Luckily all citizens were evacuated so no one was in danger yet of the storm heading their way. The ghosts had also fled, the ones Nya did not already send back to the curse realm, to safety once it became clear Morro had lost it.

Unluckily the ninja had been caught up in this tornado and barely dodged the debris flying at them. "Nya! Hit him with your water!" Lloyd's voice screams as he passes her. "I can't form it enough before it collapses!" Nya calls back.

"I'm going to kill you all!" Morro screams in rage as the storm got worse. He moves a plank of wood and aimed it at Jay who was in the open a easy target. "Jay!" Cole warns and Morro shot the blank at the blue lightning ninja. Jay managed to dodge, but barely his gi getting torn in the process. "You just couldn't accept when I finally had him!" Morro screams his tornado quickly sucking the oxygen from the air.

"Kai did love you once. All that has transpired since then is your fault!" Zane yells at the wind ghost. Morro shot his sword at Zane who deflected it. "Shut up! This is all Wu's fault!" Morro looked at the master in question who had been caught up in the storm.
