Andrew stopped in his tracks, tears streaming down his flushed cheeks as he heard the familiar voice of Kevin.

"What do you want?" Andrew grunted in annoyance, drunkenly moving to stand on his left foot, the glass shards poking his feet deeper and deeper.
"What are you doing out here..? Nicky is worried sick, he's been trying to reach you" Kevin said briefly.

Andrew let out a sigh, leaning against the tree. "Just reminding myself how much of a fuck up I am, am I not allowed to do so without people being all clingy and annoying?" The blonde yelled, raw emotion ripping through his voice.
It surprised Kevin how much emotion just flashed in front of him.

"Hey calm down, I was just asking" Kevin says, crossing his hands over his chest.
Andrew snorts in annoyance and looked away.

"You scared Nicky when you didn't go home yesterday..." Kevin starts, making Andrew more annoyed, standing up. "What happened? And why are you drunk? And why do I smell blood?"

"It's none of your business" Andrew says, staring at Kevin.
The dark haired striker raised an eyebrow. "Clearly something's up, you usually aren't this annoying to deal with"
Andrew shook his head and started to walk away, the shards of glass digging into his feet. "I want some alone time, is it too much to ask?"

Kevin didn't take any of Andrew's bullshit, walking up and shoving the blonde. "Snap out of it!" Kevin says. "I've seen the way you have been acting, even if you think you've been sneaky, I see you, looking at Neil with longing eyes and regret"

Kevin's words made Andrew stop dead in his tracks, freezing in spot.

"Neil is happy now. Can't you see that?" Kevin says, keeping his green eyes glued to Andrew's back. "I get you might regret it, but for once in Neil's life, he smiles around people"

"Please just... leave me alone, I don't want to accidentally kill anyone" Andrew says. "I get that Neil is happy, but that doesn't make it any easier" the blonde says as he walked off, limping his way towards the exit of the woods, leaving Kevin alone in the woods.

Neil woke up to a cold bed and a chilly room. He shuddered as he opened his eyes, looking for Kevin.
Neil couldn't see the green eyed striker anywhere, so he proceeded to sit up in bed. "Kevin?" He called out.

When nobody responded, Neil got worried. He pushed the covers to the side and got up, grabbing more clothes to dress himself, turning on the lights in the process.

Neil wasn't worried that Kevin was missing, as he usually did go to the foxhole court before others, even on weekends.
Neil quickly made his way out of the bedroom and to the kitchen, where he saw that Kevin was passed out in the couch, still dressed in shoes and a jacket. It made Neil sigh and grab a random blanket that was on the couch side, pulling it over Kevin.
The green eyed striker barely sighed before continuing to sleep.

Neil made his breakfast and something simple for Kevin in case he had already eaten, sitting down by the dining table, chewing on his food.
Kevin didn't wake before Neil was finished with his breakfast, yawning as he sat up on the couch.

"Neil...?" Kevin called out, grabbing the auburn haired boy's attention.
"Yes?" Neil said, standing up and going to the sink. "You were asleep so I didn't want to wake you"

Kevin sighed and stood, stretching out his sore body. "I see, thank you, love" he says, walking over to where Neil was cleaning his dishes, giving the blue eyed striker a gentle kiss on the cheek.

"Where were you? You smell like the forest" Neil said, turning around to face Kevin.
"Andrew didn't come home last night, so I went looking, turns out he was where you disappeared to back then..." he says, looking over Neil's features.

Neil just stared back. "Why? What was he doing?"
"Getting shitfaced" Kevin responded simply. "Feelings he couldn't process I guess"
Neil nods slowly. "I see..."

Kevin sighed. "Coach said that the new students should arrive soon, probably today, so we have to meet them at the foxhole court as far as I know"
Neil nods again. "Alright, let's get dressed and grab our bags" he says as he kissed Kevin's cheek softly, walking back towards the bedroom.

Kevin watched him leave with his green eyes.

'How did I get this lucky?'

"Okay listen up assholes" Coach Wymack says, holding onto a bunch of papers, getting the attention of the foxes. "New meat will arrive shortly, please just... behave. Don't make them scared of you yet"

Andrew snorted from the couch. "As if Kevin could manage not to scare someone"
The team looks at Andrew, Léo almost giggling, Matt frowning, Nicky quiet and Dan sighing.
Neil found it almost entertaining to watch their reactions, but before he could think too much of it, Kevin turned to Andrew.

"It's better to be intimidated and then respect someone than let them think you can be pushed around" says Kevin, shooting dangerous daggers at Andrew, making the blonde raise his eyebrow.

The encounter in the woods changed the atmosphere between them, stinking up the room with its sourness.

"Alright" Coach says after a while of silence. "Kevin, Neil, I'll have you responsible for making sure the newcomers won't be eaten alive, good? Fantastic" he says before either of the strikers could protest.

As Wymack finished his sentence, the door to the common area opened, Betsy following inside with some people behind her, to be exact, 4 people.
The foxes glanced over at the newcomers, going completely silent.

"Here they are David, please don't eat them up before they get to settle" Betsy says, nodding to the foxes and leaving the newcomers in the doorway.

Wymack sighs. "Alright, get in" he says, waving in the new students.
Andrew stared at the newcomers as they entered. Half of them was at least a foot taller than the blonde, making him cross his arms over his chest.

Neil studied all four of them, one of them was a female, red haired and green eyes, 6 foot at least, the second tallest was looking to be just under 6 foot, male, purple dyed hair with a scar running down his ear to his neck.
Neil noticed how much the poor redhead was shaking, probably anxious about meeting the rest of the foxes.
The last two were short, but taller than both Kevin and Neil, but lean, they both were female, blonde, but one of them had brown eyes and the other had blue.

"Welcome to the foxes" Dan said, looking at the newcomers.
The purple haired male nodded, but not saying anything.
"T-Thank you" the redhead mumbled.

"You all get chances to talk together at the dorms, here we are to discuss placement on the field and games" Wymack says, tapping the papers he was holding.
The foxes got comfortable and listened to what Wymack had to say.
