Sunset Lovers: a Andreil story

Chapter two

The rest of the evening went as usual. The team settled down and waited for their new players to arrive.

Neil and Kevin were watching a movie together, cuddling on the couch, Andrew was on the rooftop, staring out into nowhere, the girls were settling down and were currently catching up on gossip. Léo and Matt were slowly connecting, though Léo kept his distance.

Everyone was calm. As Neil was cuddling Kevin, he felt himself grow tired.

"Kevin..."

The green eyed striker looked down at his lover, humming as an answer.

"I'm tired.."

Neil sighed as he felt himself drift off, his tight grip on Kevin slowly releasing. Kevin smiled a bit as he gently pet Neil's auburn hair, feeling the softness of the hair under his fingertips.

"You are way too adorable for this world"

The shorter striker chuckled a bit and repositioned himself so his lover could lay more comfortably. He looked back at the tv and found himself looking boredly at the tv.
The auburn haired boy laying on the shorter striker stirred a bit but was still asleep, mumbling lowly with furrowed brows. Kevin looked down at the striker and gently placed his hand ontop of Neil's head, slowly going through the auburn colored locks.

Neil visibly relaxed as he sighed, his brows relaxing. Kevin smiled as he kept petting Neil's hair.
A gentle knock on the door made Kevin snap his head towards the door.

"Who the fuck is here at this hour?"

Kevin gently lifted Neil's head and then gently put him down on the pillows in the couch as he himself got up.

As he walked to the door he could hear Neil mumble in his sleep again.

Kevin opened the door gently. Dan stood there with a tapping foot and a nervous face.

"Hey, Kevin. You good to talk?"

Kevin sighed and moved away from the door, to let Dan inside.
"Neil is sleeping, so be quiet"

Dan nodded, "noted"
She walked in slowly and the striker closed the door behind the captain.

"So what's up?"

Kevin crossed his arms and watched at the female entered into the living room.
"Well the other girls are asleep. I can't stop thinking about Nicky and Sophia"

Kevin sighed and walked over to the couch. Neil was mumbling lowly with a certain facial expression that caused Kevin to frown.

"It happened. None of us blames Nicky, right?"

Dan shook her head. "I don't. But the two other girls are being a lot more nervous around Nicky... and the fact that coach even is afraid of him? It's scary"

Kevin lifted Neil's limp body, who instantly relaxed once Kevin touched his arms.
"I'll take Neil to our bed, then we can talk"

Dan nodded and watched as the striker walked with the auburn haired striker carried princess style towards the open door at the end of the hallway.

Kevin gently placed Neil on the soft bed, and dragged the black comforter over the striker's body. Kevin gently tucked Neil in and kissed his forehead

"Sleep well, Neil. I'll be here in a few minutes"

Kevin left the room to return to the captain, who were now standing in the kitchen, drinking some water.

"Now. Why are you worried?"

Kevin asked as he walked to the female, crossing his arms.
Dan sighed and put down the glass.

"I'm worried for Nicky's mental health, along with Léo's. I don't want the boys to snap at eachother. Can you help me keep an eye out on Léo? I'll try to talk with Nicky"

Kevin nodded. Dan smiled a bit and nodded, content with the striker's answer.

"Okay, i'll be going then. Sleep well, Kevin" Dan said as she finished her glass of water and nodded to the striker, who returned the nod, and she left the apartment.

Kevin rubbed his face a bit and yawned. He took the glass and put it in the sink, before walking back towards the room. He was exhausted. He couldn't wait to cuddle up to his lover and sleep his troubles away.

Kevin entered the bedroom and smoothly stripped down and climbed into the bed. Neil was curled up against Kevin's pillow, slightly tense as he slept. Kevin smiled and took a gentle grip around Neil's arms, feeling the limp body of his lover move towards him.

"Neil?"

Kevin whispered into Neil's ear softly, the auburn haired striker instantly moved to cuddle up against Kevin.
Kevin hummed and cuddled up close to Neil, feeling himself drift off, Neil's breath gently against his chest as they both fell deeper into sleep.
