Have you ever wondered what it felt like to fly?

Flying through the city, I can hear Owen whooping and yelling in joy. Telling me to go faster, higher, and to the left.

I was glad he was having fun. It made me smile.

'Well, I think you just got your best friend back.' Tech said. I smile

'Sorry for being snappy. I just-' She cut me off 'Its fine. As long as you don't leave me... Now, have fun with Owen. And don't forget to get back to school before the first class starts.'

'Thanks Tech. Always looking out for me' I love this alien robot!

I quickly make a 'U' turn back to school. I landed back behind the bushes just as the bell rang, telling us that it was time to go to our first class.

I look to Owen and couldn't help but laugh. His dark black hair was everywhere, and a big smile on his face.

"That was amazing! I never knew that flying could be that fun!"  He said as we walked to class.

As we walked, he walked very close to me, and we linked our hands together.

Yeah. We have been getting very close lately. He hasn't asked me out yet...

I snapped back to reality.

"Now, you can't tell anyone. Got it?" I say, dead serious. He nods his head.

"Are you going to tell Rachel and Doc?"

"I don't know. Maybe. I will need to find an easy way of telling them"

"Ya. I would recommend telling them. Instead of letting them find out on their own" He says with a look that said don't-mess-it-up-again.

I roll my eyes and we walked into the room.

"Hey! We are home!" I yell as Tech and I enter the studio.

Hmm, that's weird.

It's quiet.

Normally my Aunt would greet me when I came home from school. It's odd that she isn't here.

"Hey, Tech? Can you scan the house and studio for Aunty? Something feels off..."

After a few moments, the scan was done

"No one is here Rain. Hmm. Want to go turbo? You know. Just in case something were to be waiting..." She said nervously.

"Awe. Is someone scared?" I coo. "No, I'm not scared. Just want to be careful. Aunty might be in danger and you can never be too-"

but before she found finish her sentence, a loud, ear-piercing scream. I look to Tech and bolted up the steps to the house.

"Aunty? Where are you" I yell. But I got no reply. I ran to her room, but she was gone.

My room, nothing.

When I got to the living room I found a big hole in the wall.

"Well, it looks like your Aunt was trying to redecorate and it went badly" Tech jokes.
