Chapter 8

As we flew through the sky, I couldn't help but think about how we were going to do this. I mean, it's not like Toxon is going to just had her over with no hesitation or complication. That would be too easy. And he never lets anything be easy.

"RAIN! WHERE DO YOU TWO THINK YOU ARE GOING?" Someone yelled through my headset in my helmet. I yelped in surprise and froze. "ERIT! Don't freaking do that! You scared the crap out of me! Now, what in the world do you want from me?! I'm VERY busy." I say, very frustrated.

He can't stop me. Not when I'm so close to finding Aunt Joy and stopping Toxon. "Kid, you can't fly into this blind. Let us here at N-Tech find a way to-" Erit tried to explain.

"No, you're going to sit me on the side lines and "handle it". I need to do this, and it's going to be now. Not when you're ready. What would you do? If it were your aunt? What would you do?" i ranted at him.

"Kid," he sighed. "I know you want you Aunt back. Believe me, I know. But going in blind will get you and your aunt hurt, or worse. We can't afford that. Come back to N-Tech. We will figure out a plan that will get both you ant your Aunt out, alive and well. I promise."

I sigh. He is right. I don't know what I'm getting into. But the longer I wait, the more we can learn about what we are up against. Dang it. I hate it when he is right.

"Okay. Okay fine. We will do it your way. We will wait. But when it comes down to it, I'm the one who they report to in the field. I have years of experience fighting this guy. I know what I'm doing. Got it Erit?" I finally said.

"Okay. Your right. We follow your lead, I promise. Now, come back to N-Tech so we can talk strategy. Yea?" Erit heaved.

"Yea. Ill be there in twenty." I say as I turned around.  I had to make a stop first.

"Hey, T?" I say. "Whats up?" she responded. "Shut of the our tracker and dampen our turbo signature." "Why? Aren't we going back to N-Tech?" she questions

"Yea we are, but first, we need to make a pit stop to meet up with an old friend."

Hey guys!  Sorry for the very late update. And also sorry its short. I swear, the next chapter will be longer. I'm trying out a new writing style so its going to take a little while longer. But, as always, Ill try to get more chapters out as fast as I can.

Also, I would like to tell you all that I'm thinking of discontinuing 'My Crazy Life'. The story just didn't go the direction I hoped it would in the beginning. I'm sorry to those who were invested in the book but I need a fresh werewolf story to write.

I am planning to finish this book before continuing any of the other stories I have written but as of now, I'm discontinuing MCL. The TNMT story, Do I Disappoint You (DIDY) will continue to be on hold until I end this story. But I hope to get that story going again as soon as I can.
