"Mexico?!" Laurie shouted. She thinks we're going to the beach when in reality, I had one clue where we are going. The letter I found in my car, Lucas got from the Drug Merchants. It was from a small town in the heart of Mexico. We learned about it in Spanish last year. After explaining the whole situation to Laurie, her eyes widen with shock and it looked like she was fighting back the tears. " You're joking right? You're going to a place you have never been in the middle of fucking Mexico! To steal Lucas back from the drug merchants?!" She yelled, still fighting back the tears. Hearing Lucas name , made me cringe. "yes and if you don't want to come, you're more than welcome to stay." i said, now fighting back the tears, "He's my brother." i said with my voice, a bit scratchy. " Just drive Dyl." She said finally relaxing. What was I getting us into ?

My head was pounding , I laid my seat back. We were at some rest stop because it was night time. Dyl was tired also. What if we never get Lucas back? What if something happens to one of us? I pushed all the thoughts away, and fell asleep. I was woken up by Laurie and Dylan talking . I heard them talking about Lucas and putting us at risk. Then I finally snapped, " I will go by myself." " Thats not what we want " Dylan said resting his hand on my thighs. " We want everyone safe." Laurie added. "What about Lucas? Are we just going to let him sit there longer? No, you are , I'm not!" I said getting out the car and slamming the car door behind me. I don't know here I was going but I know was that I was going to get my brother back. After about 15 minute walk. I need to get back to my car. I was in the distance where I could see my car. Dylan and Laurie both got out of the car. That's when I saw it, the same black van that took Lucas. "Run!" I shouted to Dylan and Laurie. I could see them but they couldn't hear me. I started to run as fast as I could to the car. The men who were in the black van got out of the van. I started yelling run but they couldn't hear me once again. "Is that the one you saw?" A tall dark-toned man asked. "yeah, that's her." At this point, Dylan started running towards me, but it was too late. A black sack was put over my head as Dylan screamed my name. They threw me into the van and I banged my head causing me to black out. I woke up in a dark, cold room. I coughed causing me to gasp for air. "Help me." I yelled. Tears were making my vision blurry. I tried to stand up, only to find out that my hands were tied behind my back. "Lucas! Please help me!" I cried. "please" I said softly. The door swung open causing me to flinch. " Don't get any ideas of letting her go." The same man who threw the bag over my head said. " Cassie?" Lucas croaked. "Lucas!" I screamed still crying. " God Cassie! I told you not to come here! They will kill you with no hesitation?!" he snapped. I buried my face in my knees and sobbed. "it's okay Cas." he said wrapping his arms around me. "I love you Cas." he said as they pulled him away from me. "Please, let us go!" I screamed as loud as I could. My head was pounding, thoughts were swimming in my mind and the next thing I knew , I was out like a light.

I woke up, squinting my eyes. I was in the same room I was in before. There were two shadows in the corner. "hello?" I squeaked. My throat throbbed. " Hello!" I yelled a little louder. "Cas?" I heard a voice say. it was Laurie. "LAURIE?! where are you?!" I whispered. my throat was still throbbing. I heard a sniffle and rattling of chains. " Dylan?" she whispered. "Yeah?" I heard more rattling of chains. My head was pounding, but I heard yelling. Where ever we are, there was yelling. The door busted open causing to flinch once again. I took my head from my hands and looked over to the dark area, where Dylan and Laurie were. "Come on one, two, three." I heard someone said. I saw three people coming out of the dark. It was Dylan in the middle being carried by Laurie and Lucas. "Dylan?" I said. I looked at him as if he would respond. I got nothing. "is he okay?!" I asked Lucas. "hold him up Laurie, while I get Cassie ." Lucas commanded Laurie. Laurie stood there for a second before trying to hold him up. Lucas walked over to me with bolt cutter and cut off my chains . I stood up, my legs wobbled. I almost fell over, but Lucas caught me in time. "Dylan?" I asked again. Now we was in the light and I could see his face. He has a slight bruise on his cheek and a couple of cuts . The one thing I notice, was that his hair was cut. Lucas help me through the door, and out the hallway. I closed my eyes so I couldn't see. I open them right as we walked outside. "What do we do now?" I asked . "Home."
