"Lucas give-me-the-remote". I tried to snatch the remote back. "Nope. It's guys night we get the t.v". "Me and Emily just want to watch our school on the news. Give us five minutes". "Nope" he said smirking at me. "Daddy... Can you tell Lucas to give me the remote"? I yelled up to my dad giving him the I'm the innocent one, the princess look. "Nope I'm getting the t.v." He said snatching the remote from both of us. "Hey!" We both pouted at the same time. "We'll since I'm not going anywhere today I guess Emily and I will go do something". I said grabbing an apple and biting into it as I ran towards the door. "Bye, I love you twerps!" "We love you too Cas"! I herd them both fight over the t.v as I shook my head, and walked over to Emily's. "Cassie is in the hizzle"! I said tying not to laugh as I busted in to her room. She saw me and just completely fell on the floor as I busted out laughing. "You scared me to DEATH!" She yelled as she ran up to hug me. "Can we talk?"she gave me a sad look with worry in her eyes. "You can always talk to me" I said trying to think of reasons of why she would want to talk to me. Was she mad sad angry? I don't care she's my best friend and I'm going to listen to her. "It's about you and dill". Why did she want to talk about me and dylan? "Wh what is it?" I said trying not to worry. "I love you two going out and all. But you never.... Never talk to me any more". I could see the tears filling up in her eyes. "Hey, I'm always here for you Emily. Always". "Come on. We're going to go shopping for homecoming". I tried to get her to smile and it worked. "Can Laurie come"? She said getting even more exited. "What would it be with out her?" I said and we both let out a giggle. I felt really bad about what Emily said. I mean she is my best friend and I love her to death. With my power, witch I have been ignoring lately because derek has been in a pissy mood every time he tried to help me with it. With Lucas around we have been trying to catch up from the last fifteen years of not even knowing each other. I haven't even really hung out with Emily. And I don't want her to think that I don't care about hanging out with her. So I called Laurie and we're going to the mall for dresses. Dylan and Mr. O'brien went on a fishing trip and he's been gone almost a week so, I will be spending my weekend with my best Friends. "Laurie today, or the mall is going to close I said yelling out the window. My dad decided that he would drive us to the mall. "I'm here. Wow your impatient". I tried not to laugh when Laurie said that. We walked in the mall and up the escalator. We looked around for a while looking at all the pretty dresses and that's when one caught my eye. " WHAT ABOUT THIS ONE?!" I smiled at them as there eyes got big. "If you don't get that one.. We will kill you". They both looked at each other and started smiling. Laurie and Em had already picked out there dresses. Emily's was a light orange color with an ombré affect. Laurie had a dark purple dress with little Diamonds at the top. And mine, it was a dark blue to bring out my color. It had a bow on the back showing a little of my skin. It came down mid thigh. It was beautiful. "We have a surprise for you". They both said smiling at each other. "Oh gosh" I said under my breath. "Hey beautiful" it was dylan. I was so happy. "DYLAN!!" I ran up to him and jumped to him wrapping my legs around his torso, giving him a large hug. "I missed you so much. So much it's not even funny". " I missed you way more". He said giving me a small kiss. "Did you guys know about this"? I said with my body still wrapped around his. "Duh!" They both said laughing and giving Dylan a hug to. I still didn't let go, not yet.
**two months later**
"Hey umm can we.. Um...talk" Dylan said rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah, of course". Oh god. Is he breaking up with me? What is he going to say? I began to worry. Tears started to well up in my eyes. But I don't think he noticed. " I'm... Im .. Moving to....California". California.
